Didn’t Meet My Expectations
I was really hoping to love this blanket, but it was not what I expected at all. The material feels rough, and the weight isn’t distributed evenly, making it uncomfortable to use. I just want to sleep comfortably, but this blanket doesn’t help at all. It heats up too fast and isn’t breathable. I tried using it for a few nights but ended up putting it away.

I certainly knew when this package arrived! The blanket is as described, minky dot fabric. The beads are distributed evenly and the blanket seems well-made.I had attempted to make a weighted blanket several years ago, and it was challenging. The store-bought ones were expensive, and I know how to sew, so I thought it wouldn’t be difficult. I ended up spending much more on the supplies to make one, and honestly it didn’t turn out as nice.It is 15 pounds, and you’re supposed to use 10% of your body weight, so this is pretty good for an average sized adult. It’s twin sized so if you tend to move around a lot it will slide. The minky fabric is soft which is great but that also means it’s a little slick and will slide off of you if you toss and turn. But then again, the point of the blanket is to help you not toss and turn.Weighted blankets are expensive, so overall I think this is a good value.

When I was little my dad used to do a “tight tuck” with the blankets when I was sick, and I found it really comforting. The weighted blanket kind of reminds me of that.This *specific* blanket is a good weight, and I love the jewel green color.
