    Quality well made
Blanket is really nice, came well packaged and is super soft. I wanted a 20lbs blanket initially, but 15lbs is plenty out west.

I love this blanket – so nice, so cozy, so comforting.
10/10. I’m currently in bed with gnarly back pain and this weighted blanket is honestly helping me feel better. I don’t know the exact psychology behind why weighted blankets are comforting, but I’ve learned that it’s true. The weight feels like light compression over my whole body- like a hug or something lol. It just feels better, especially with this pain I’ve got going on- so much so that I wanted to write a review about it right now, to help other shoppers who may be on the fence about it.Aside from how comforting it feels, the blanket itself is awesome. I got the 60×80 size in the grey color (I like the black one but I have dogs, and they have lots of hair lol so I went with grey to be safe). It really does look nice and high end. One side is a Sherpa material, and the other side is more of plush/smoother quilted look (inside the ‘quilt’ squares are where the weighted beads are, I believe). I think I read that the beads are very small (and numerous) and made of a high quality glass of some type- you don’t really feel them unless you squish one of the quilt squares with your finger lol. The whole thing is made so well, in my opinion. Both sides are super soft and cozy. The weight feels evenly distributed. The size is wonderful. I will say that it gets much heavier when folded over (which makes sense) – just something to get used to, as it can be harder to move when that happens during sleep lol. I’m a larger person and this size is great- but I think the smaller size would’ve worked well too.Only concern I have is when I will eventually wash this (didn’t feel a need to wash right out of the package- no weird smells or anything on the blanket at all). The instructions do recommend washing this blanket at a laundromat type place with larger commercial machines, because the weight can be too heavy for regular washers/dryers. I do believe that would be the case for my washer, as it has trouble with wobbling already with heavier items (like dog beds), so I do plan on laundering this blanket at a place that can handle the weight. For that reason, I almost wish I could get a cover for the blanket, like a duvet cover. Since it’s a similar size to my bed duvet, I might try using a duvet cover on this just to keep it as clean (and dog hair free) as possible for as long as possible! Right now I’m using a fitted sheets as a makeshift cover on the bottom and top of this blanket. Might sound like overkill, but I just want to try and keep it clean for a while before having to scout out a facility that can handle this type of thing.Anyways, I definitely recommend this blanket – it’s good quality, so soft, weighted evenly, and just so nice to have. I’d been considering getting a weighted blanket for some time, but wasn’t sure the hype was real. Can confirm: it’s lovely.Really helping me tonight as well.

Very Poor Quality – Not Recommended
I was really disappointed with this weighted blanket. The material feels cheap, and the stitching is not secure at all. The weight inside is uneven and shifts around, making the blanket uncomfortable to use. It does not feel relaxing or cozy like a weighted blanket should. The sherpa fleece also sheds, and overall the quality is far below what I expected for the price. It looks nice in the pictures, but in reality it does not deliver the comfort or durability it promises.

  4. My Review

This Blanket is Worth its Weight! 🛌
This is my first time using a weighted blanket, and now I’m wondering why I waited so long. I’m 5’2″,120-ish, so this 15lb blanket is technically at the high end of the usual 8–12% body weight recommendation. That said… it doesn’t feel that heavy to me 🤷‍♀️. (Maybe my perception is skewed because my100lb+ dogs often pile on me like furry sandbags??)Instead, what I notice most is a calming, even pressure that feels grounding in a really soothing way. As someone who’s neurodivergent, I sometimes feel a bit floaty or disconnected, especially when I’m stressed—and this really seems to help bring me back down to earth. TBH I really only need 15–20 minutes to feel the effect. I don’t mind having it on longer, but my brain seriously stops noticing it, until I try to fling it off and remember, “Oh right, it’s weighted!” 🤪ℹ️ The Science: Weighted blankets provide a certain type of even pressure. This even pressure is believed to boost your ‘proprioception’. Proprioception basically means, your body’s sense of self-awareness. Improving that can help you feel more settled and chill. This is why weighted blankets are becoming popular for stress, anxiety, and sleep support.🛏 About This Blanket:• Mine is the 48″ x 72″ size, which will feel subjectively heavier than the larger 60″ x 80″ size of the same weight, so bear that in mind.• The 7-layer design and 4″ stitched squares help keep the weight evenly distributed—no noticeable clumping, shifting, or noise.• It’s super cozy on both sides—one patterned, one fuzzier. The fuzzy side kind of looks like matted microfleece, which worried me, but thankfully it’s very soft.• While the blanket is machine-washable, it’s going to be a bit of a pain to wash. So I highly suggest putting a duvet on it — unless you feel like doing CrossFit: Laundry Edition. 🏋️• There are handy duvet loops sewn in around the edges for securing a cover or just easier handling.• This probably isn’t ideal for hot climates or people who overheat easily. Also, weighted blankets might take some getting used to, so give yourself a few days to adjust if it’s your first time trying one.TLDR: From my research, this meets all the criteria of a high-quality weighted blanket. It’s well-constructed, and very fairly priced. As always, YMMV — but personally, I find it genuinely calming without being overwhelming. I just wish I got it sooner!
