Nice lights for slat walls
The lights work well and are easy to setup. A couple negatives however:* the lights are much narrower than the slat wall opening for Luxewall acoustic panels, relying only on 2-sided tape to adhere them to the wall. On light did fall down after mounting initially, but remounting it seemed to have fixed thus far.* the power cords are pretty short. However as I have them set up, I was able to make them work well and hide the cables behind the TV.Positives:* easy to setup and connect to Alexa* good app for iPhone that works well, in addition to included physical remote* very bright with good dimming adjustments to suit

Nice. Limitations consistent with cost, but punch well above their weight.
These lights are very nice. They have the common limitations consistent with relatively inexpensive lights, but for their price offer a lot of the value you would normally expect of much more expensive options.My lights came in two lengths as advertised. 4 at 24″ and 2 at 16″. The strips are very nice looking, with tape on the back and consistent lighting across the bar. They have what I would call a typical motherboard 4-pin RGB fan header, and they even plug into what appears to be a header-hub. The lights come with numerous cable clips for wire routing, all of which have double-sided 3M tape. Good quality. The hub has wifi connectivity, and you are encouraged to download an app called “SurpLife” in order to get the most out of these lights.It should be noted that the lights do function without wifi connectivity and the smartphone app, but their functions are limited. The remote that comes with it has the ability to turn the lights to a limited set of pre-chosen colors, and change blink, fade, and speed. The remote also allows for an automatic timer to turn them off, and can make the lights audio-responsive.To get the most out of these lights, however, you need the app. With the app you are able to customize the color to anything within the typical RGB color wheel. Whatever that is 16 million colors or whatever. It also allows you to have the lights on a timer, set profiles, and scenes; all very similar to significantly more expensive options. Obviously the usual caveat must be mentioned, that you are downloading some obscure, very likely Chinese, app to your phone.Overall, I am very impressed with these lights. They turn on and off with a nice fade. Their color is accurate and consistent. The app gives many options which the remote does not. If you need quality bar lights at a reasonable price, I would look no further.

I got this 6-pack of Lichaser RGB smart lights to use on one of my walls. The kit comes with 4@ 24” strips, 2@ 16” strips, all the needed wiring, the controller hub and a remote control, with a button cell battery also included. Each light strip has double sided tape pre installed for easy hanging. Each power wire is about 7’ long, so you can space the strips fairly far apart if needed. The hub has room for 9 wires, so you could add 3 more strips in the future. From the hub to the wall outlet is another 4’, so you might not need an extension cord to power this light system. The remote allows you to power the lights on and off, as well as select from 9 solid colours, including white. There’s a dimmer switch, so you can adjust the brightness, along with timer buttons, to automatically turn off the lights. It has mode switches, so you can select from 40 different lighting effects and a speed switch, to control the flashing/strobing speed of each mode. There are even 3 music modes, so the lights will change to the beat of your music. Since these light strips are nice and thin, they easily fit in between the gaps in your wood wall. They also work well inside shelves or tight spaces. With the wires being black, they are easily hidden in the shadows or can be tucked into thin gaps. Though all six wires come together at the controller hub, it’s small enough that it can be hidden behind other objects. The various light modes put on a great show, with even the solid colours giving sleek illumination. These smart strip lights will give your wall some colourful attitude and excitement. Whether you choose a single colour, a certain mode, or the music option, they’ll bring your room to life. This is a great set to start building your wall.

I installed this light fixture in my movie/music room, and it has completely transformed the atmosphere. The sound-sync feature works beautifully – finally, I have lights that actually respond to music and create the right vibe. Whether I’m watching a concert film or gaming, the dynamic lighting adds a whole new level of immersion.The included RF remote is decent: it has better range and reliability than IR, but it doesn’t offer the fine-tuned control I’d like. Thankfully, pairing the lights with the app unlocks much more customization. I can adjust brightness, colors, and modes to match my mood or set up different scenarios, which makes the system feel truly versatile.A couple of small drawbacks:• On plain white walls, the lights can look a bit too shiny. I imagine they’d look even better paired with slat wall décor or acoustic panels to diffuse the glow.• The wires are shorter than expected. I may re-wire them in a long-short-long arrangement on each side of the room to avoid reflections bouncing back onto my TV screen.Overall, this is a solid set of smart lights for anyone looking to enhance a music, movie, or gaming space. The sound-reactive modes, app control, and strong RF remote make it a fun and functional upgrade. With a little tweaking to the setup, it can easily become the centerpiece of your entertainment room.
