Love this cup!
I am obsessed with this travel coffee mug! My coffee always stays the perfect temperature, so no more bland cold coffee after 30 minutes. This cup is so easy to charge with the magnetic charge port and its so easy to clean with a stainless steal inside. The design and color is absolutely perfect and the flip up drink hole cover locks into place when up or down so its so easy to get a drink and keep your drink from spilling.

Not worth the price
I was really excited to try this mug, but honestly it’s not worth it. It only keeps the coffee warm, not hot. Even after charging it fully and trying multiple times, it never gets hot enough to enjoy. A regular thermal mug does a better job keeping coffee hot for hours. Looks nice but disappointing performance.

No longer works after 1 week
Worked great for two weeks, then suddenly stopped heating. I followed all the instructions, but it just turns on without generating any heat.Called Amazon for support, but the automated system was a hassle. After about 30 minutes, I finally reached a human. The representative had some difficulty with English but was helpful. At first, they wanted me to return the mug, but after explaining drive to return the product would cost me as much as just buying a new one, they decided to let me keep it. Since I’m a Prime member with a good return history, they refunded the money to my account. In the end, it worked out, but the process was frustrating. The cup is no a good to me so ill just look for a new one.Note: This is my first time buying from these sellers good chance it was just 1 bad cup. The rest of their products give them a shot im sure its fine.

Not up to the task
The problems with the original Smrtmug have been erased but this replacement isn’t worthy of my usage. The battery life used to be many hours. Now it’s 1 1/2 hours. I go on bike rides for three or more hours. Also they state that the perfect temp for keeping the coffee at what they call the average temp for people is just too low. I was setting the old one at 140° and loving it. But this model only keeps it at 131°, too low for me. Back to the drawing board folks. If the price is too low for a proper product, raise it, like the other….

I got mugged !! The heat is on !!
I had an Ember Travel Mug before this that the battery fizzled out on, so I decided to give this one a try as the price point is MUCH cheaper compared to the Ember Mug. All in all for the price, I am happy with this product.Pros: Price much cheaper than other big brands / Quality – Seems well built and solid / Battery life lasts as advertisedCons: Only heats coffee to 131 deg F. I like my coffee at around 138 deg F. The Ember Mug goes up to 140 deg F / This one is really odd, but the rubber piece on the lid that you press down to close the hole you drink from, eventually gets musty smelling & keeps getting worse. I clean everything promptly after using, but this still happened. What happens is before I get to taste my coffee, I get a nice wiff of musty. I have removed it so now my mug is not sealed to hold in heat when not actively sipping. Im going to try boiling with a very small amount of vinegar in the water to see if it helps.

Black heated mug chargers don’t seem to work well. Lid flap won’t stay on…
Our daughter bought my wife and I two of these heated mugs. One was white and one was black (so we could tell them apart :-). Smart. The white mug charged and worked fine. The black mug would not charge using the black charging cable. But, it would charge using my wife’s white charging cable. So, I returned/replaced the black mug. It worked fine for few weeks but then stopped charging again, intermittently. But, it would always charge using my wife’s white charging cable. So, I kept it. Now, the lid flap cover has broken off. Actually, the nibs that hold the lid flap have worn out and won’t stay in the lid flap holes. I have requested a new lid flap from the company but have not heard anything back from them in over a month. So, in summary the heated mugs worked well when/if they charge. It was a very thoughtful gift. That said, these seem like a $20-$30 item vs a $50-$60 item.

I was able to charge this item easily with the magnetic USB lead. I checked the temperature of the liquid after more than 2 hours and it was still boiling hot. I’m hopeful that I will get many years of use from it.
