I love this product
I love this product. The only thing I can’t comment on now is “how long will the machine remain working” I’ve only had it a week but it is such a marvelous item that I couldn’t wait to say something. This mop is every well designed. The parts move smoothly and offer great ease of use. It’s very light weight and glides smoothly across surfaces [I’ve mopped all may linoleum floors and two carpeted rooms]. This may not be important to some of you, but I will be 70 in two years with a long history of chronic back pain. Finding any product that I can use with ease is a big plus and enhances the quality of my of life. Compared to other floor cleaning machines I’ve owned, this mop is by far the best.Specifically, the power cord is not the longest I’ve seen, but it is more than adequate. The machine cleans well. The design for the parts that bend/create an elbow for cleaning under furniture is easy to use and the joint is very sturdy. Little things like creating a method for storing the cord and also keeping the cord out of the way when in use make the mopping experience more rewording. As I said, it’s actually fun to use and even better when you see the results, clean floors and carpets. The swivel joint that holds the mop allows me to clean places I’ve never been able to steam clean before. It’s a dynamite little machine for the price and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good floor cleaning solution.

Poor Quality
This is my second Smart Living Steam Mop. The first one lasted about 5 years before it stopped making steam. It was the best, heated up quickly and made great steam. I used it nearly every day (4 dogs). When it finally died I went looking for another. I had originally bought it during our state fair, so I waited for that. Alas, they were not there. I was so excited when I found it on Amazon. This Plus version did not even last one year and I only used it about 12 times, It no longer creates steam. When it did I was very disappointed. This machine did not clean and disinfect as well as the original. I would not recommend this product. Obviously quality is no longer the same.

Yes, Yes, Yes…..
I had seen this displayed at the NY State Fair and hesitated to purchase it, mostly because we live in the country and have well water, which the vendor said not to use in this machine…But I could buy distilled water and use that.I got home from the fair and started talking with my husband about this product and comparing the price of Swiffer Wet Jet Refills and really not being satisfied with the floor results of the Swiffer Wet Jet product (leaving residue marks)I decided to purchase this product through Amazon at a higher price than if I had bought it at the NY State Fair…WHY, You might ask…Distilled water at a big box store is .89 and I have cleaned my floor many times since purchasing this product and I have still not used a full gallon of water yet…this product has washable, re usable cleaning pads AND NO PRODUCT RESIDUE LEFT ON MY FLOOR !

We bought it as a home show and it was my wife who wanted to see it demonstrated and then said we should get one. Well, she generously gave me the responsibility for doing the floors in the kitchen and bathrooms. They turn out great. We used it in our vacation condo and just ordered one to keep there…tired of lugging it back and forth! The product is well made, creates a lot of steam, does not leave floors soaking wet, The ball joint is a big help in getting under and around things. By the way, seep a floor before steaming. The mop does not pick up loose dirt. I don’t see this as a problem, but just a word to the wise.That said, the pads are another story. They look great when new, but soon become flimsy and thin, after being washed. A pack of 3 replacement pads is an astonishing $24.95, which might be tolerable but after they wear think, they don’t work as well.

Terrible customer service! Stopped steaming during the 3rd user
I cannot recommend this product. I would give 0 stars if I could.The company was completely unresponsive to my attempts in contacting them about the mop failing after 3 uses.However, Amazon is picking up the product and refunding my purchase even though it was past the return date. Go Amazon!I absolutely loved how this mop worked when I received it 8 weeks ago but during the 3rd use it just stopped steaming. Blue light is flashing. I have trouble shooted to no avail.I have contacted the company yesterday (Easter Sunday) both thru the contract tab on the website and email.I am hoping that this was just a lemon. It happens.If they are a good company they will respond in a timely fashion.I will update my comments, with the resolution or if they do not.Update: I have made several attempts to contact the company; thru amazon, direct email and the chat feature on their website. I have not received a response. Unbelievable and very disappointing.Ended up buying the Shark and like it better anyway.

Excellent Steam Cleaner Mop
I had a terrible red food color dye spot on my gray berber carpet and the steamer took it out. I saw a demo at the county fair but waited to read reviews etc and then purchased one. For a tough carpet stain the demonstrator recommended leaving the steamer mop on the stain for a few minutes which is what I did. I had tried everything to remove that spot including professional cleaning but this smart mop did it. I use it on hardwood floors and it works well and lightweight. Wish the cord was a bit longer but it is workable.
