Great Robot Vacuum & Does a Good Job
I researched many different robot vacs before choosing this model. I’m very pleased with the purchase! It does a great job of collecting small debris, pet hair, dust bunnies under furniture, and has good edge cleaning. I wanted a vacuum to clean hardwood floors with area rugs. My six month experience has been great! This model meets all expectations. It’s astonishing how much cat hair it collects everyday & I wonder how the cats have any fur left. LOL!There are a lot of different brands & too many options! Another important factor is the consumable parts that will need to be replaced. That can increase the cost of ownership significantly. I specifically wanted a basic robot vac to vacuum floors & automatically empty the dust bin. I did NOT want a mop, 360 degree HD cameras, or microphones. While I can appreciate the benefits of a mop or a camera, I have absolutely no need for a microphone. I’m not going to watch pets or talk to them through a vacuum. In my opinion, I consider some of those options gimmicky & prone to failure. Plus, they significantly increase the initial cost and raise privacy concerns.

Don’t understand the hype, this thing is really bad
2 months in and unfortunately passed the return window. I had a roomba prior so I’m comparing the issues I had with that vs this piece of junk which for some reason got great reviews.First off this thing gets lost so easily. I don’t know how many times it’s tried to go back to charge and I found it dead in the opposite corner of the room because it couldn’t find home. My house has a decent number of mirrors and I think that confuses this thing, you could tell by how it maps out spaces (checking the house map on the app). It’s so clueless that’s it’s mapping out reflections as part of the room. Never was a problem with the Roomba. So basically it’s consistently at low battery because half the time it’s getting lost in a room it’s cleaned 50 times before and dying. Mind you there is no clutter, the charge port is in a room with 2 desks and 2 chairs. Not to mention when it goes back to charge mid job because it’s always low battery, it completely forgets it was cleaning a room and gives up on a job. Useless.Second off this thing gets caught on everything. Better hope you live like a caveman and don’t have any chargers because it loves sucking in and destroying your wires. This was never a problem with my roomba. It’s because of how this is designed with its brush/spool. Not only that but if I have a cat toy on the ground (those who have pets know that toys are just going to end up in random places, this thing will suck in those toys and get stuck). Pretty ridiculous that a toy will get this thing caught, I shouldn’t have to do a 20 minute patrol to find little toys around the house for a vacuum that gets put to work three times a week. Again, this was never a problem with the roomba. It’s how this thing is designed.Next issue, the thread/hair cutting feature doesn’t even work. The spool just pushes it all into a corner so this feature pointless.Another issues is the lack of certain convenient features (keeping in mind these features exist with other similarly priced products). This vacuum + app can name rooms and clean areas, but I can’t ask Alexa to clean those spaces. I can only ask this thing via Alexa for it to clean the entire house. If you want a specific room you open the app to do so. Minor inconvenience sure, but it’s the same price as a roomba that can do those things.Last but not least and probably the most important part, the cleaning sucks. I had a fake Christmas tree that lost some of its pine needles when I was putting it away. Instead of just sweeping it I figured I’d use this opportunity to do a final test of how good the vacuum actually works. I’m not lying when I say I had to assign a clean zone over those fake pine needles three times before it finally picked them all up. It can’t do the added perks it advertises well at all so you’d think the least it can do is vacuum correctly. Wrong.I hoped it would get smarter over time like my roomba did and learn the space better but this thing is definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed. I’m now past the return window after getting fooled by the other reviews and giving this thing a chance, and this thing is still as clueless as it was when it came out the box.Don’t listen to the other review hype, this thing is a total lemon. People either had earlygeneration roombas that have since gotten much better or just never actually had a robo vacuum before, because I can’t for the life of me understand how so many people left a review saying this thing was the best purchase they’ve ever made. Ignorance is bliss, this isn’t great in any sense of the word. Don’t end up stuck with this thing like me where I now tell myself I’ll put up with this junk for an another year before I get a replacement. Look elsewhere.

This cute little clueless robot does a lovely job in cleaning. It’s also super convenient to empty out and clean. Sadly it’s quite a dumb little thing and blindly goes around the floor, often missing spots and it loves to eat wires. It’s also not the brightest in returning to the charging station, it seems to follow a path of displacement and will try to go through walls for hours before giving up and running out of battery. In terms of docking itself, you really need to stick the charging station to the wall or floor, or else it will try to hump the charging station and completely shift it around and never manage to dock. Altogether though honestly, I think that little bit of effort is totally acceptable on our part to input given how conveniently it picks up (A LOT) of dirt, hair, and lint as frequently as you want it to.It’s super pricey on amazon Canada compared to ordering on eufy website even after conversion rate (does not deliver to Canada from eufy website) but having no other option, it’s alright I guess. Overall I wouldn’t say it’s worth $450 (including tax), much more worthwhile for USA consumers who are only paying $300 (CAD). but if you’re ultra lazy like me and only vacuum once every 3 weeks, it’s quite worthwhile to sit on the couch and control this thing with a remote to clean your house.It is now only $320 on the Canadian Amazon!! It’s super worth this price in my opinion, and Amazon was absolutely amazing with me on exchanging the product for the new price. Changing my review on this one to 5/5!!

My daughter bought this for me for Christmas. I used it and was so impressed I bought a second one for my lower level on the boxing week sales.It won’t fall down stairs idk how but it knows how to avoid them. It won’t get caught on big cords but small cords (like an iPhone charger will have to be picked up). And it will go up and over mats so you don’t have to pick them up. (Mats that are stationary) so if you can walk on them without them moving. Eg a kitchen foam rubber mat.It just runs on a pattern across the room in an up and down (horizontal or vertical) pattern that seems to pick everything up. Or you can set it to just spot clean an area.I have 2 cats and there was always cat hair on my hardwood floors no matter how often I tried to keep up with it. Now, with this running everyday I don’t see anymore cat hair.We put the second one on the bottom level and it runs in the cats room first where the litter boxes are and it completely picks up any spare litter that the cats paws leave behind when they come out of the litter box. (That litter gravel always seemed to get tracked around the house). Now I never see or feel any grit, so I’m not constantly sweeping.I love this thing!!No setting up, no setting or programming a pattern of your room for it to follow it just knows.I can’t say enough good things about it!You can wash the filter. I would recommend getting the spare parts kit that is available with it so you’ll have an extra filter and brush in case you need it.It is slightly noisy, nothing crazy but if I’m watching tv I do have to turn the tv up a bit when it comes into the room. (It is a vaccum after all).It will return to its base on its own. If you have multi levels just pick it up and put it on the next level or get a second one.For the price this thing is great!!I’d give this 20 out of 10!!!
