Impressive Clarity and Stabilization – GoPro Rival
I bought this camera for myself as a birthday gift because it was on promotion, and honestly, I didn’t expect too much at first. But it turned out way better than I thought. I brought it with me to Hawaii for snorkeling, and the video quality really surprised me. The underwater footage came out super clear, and I was able to film sea turtles pretty close. The colors still look bright and real, even under the water. The stabilization is great too. I was swimming and moving a lot, and the videos still look smooth when I watch them back. Since it’s waterproof, I didn’t have to stress about the waves or water splashing on it. I could just enjoy the moment and keep recording. One of my favorite parts is the little front screen. I can see myself while talking to the camera, so I know if my expression looks weird and can fix it right away. This makes vlogging so much easier for me. I even use it at home now when I practice or film for my YouTube channel. It’s actually fun to use.Battery life is pretty good, and the mount makes switching angles fast. It feels solid and well-built, too. Honestly, for what I paid, I think it comes really close to GoPro in terms of quality and stability.I’m really happy with this camera. I’ll definitely keep using it for future trips and for making better videos. If you’re looking for something easy to bring around and great for both travel and vlogs, this one is a really good choice.

Great little camera at a great price!
The Xtra Edge Pro is one of the most thoughtfully designed pieces of gear I’ve added to my kit. It’s incredibly compact, easy to slip into a small bag or even a jacket pocket, and the matte finish gives it a clean, modern look that feels premium without being flashy. I’ve used it for a few quick shoots and it’s already earned its spot as a go-to for travel and outdoor content. The grip is comfortable and the build feels sturdy enough to handle movement without worrying about damage.Honestly, the photos I took of it don’t do it justice—it’s such a beautiful piece in person. The design is sleek and minimal with just enough detail to feel high-end without being overdesigned. It’s the kind of gear that looks good even when it’s just sitting on your desk. The stabilization is impressive and the waterproofing gives me peace of mind when I’m near water or caught in unpredictable weather. It’s lightweight but powerful and the app integration makes syncing and sharing super easy. Whether I’m filming on the go or just capturing quiet moments, it delivers smooth footage and sharp visuals. If you care about aesthetics and portability as much as performance, this is a great pick!

Longer Battery Life Than GoPro
I recently got the Xtra Action Camera, and honestly, it’s been a blast to use. Right out of the box, it feels solid and well-made, and it’s not overly complicated to set up, which I really appreciated. The 1/1.3” sensor is definitely a standout feature—it captures photos and videos with great clarity and really vibrant colors. Whether I’m shooting outdoors during the day or in dimmer lighting, the image quality doesn’t disappoint. It has that crisp, true-to-life look that makes footage pop, especially when you replay it on a bigger screen. The 4K video capability is where this camera really shines. I’ve used it for casual vlogs, biking trips, and even just recording family outings, and the detail is impressive. It makes even regular moments feel cinematic, and the smooth playback makes sharing clips with friends a lot more enjoyable. I’ve noticed that the stabilization feature is a game-changer, too. Even when I’m running or biking over uneven ground, the footage comes out smooth and steady. No more watching shaky videos that make you feel seasick—it really does live up to the “buttery-smooth” claim. One of the biggest selling points for me is how waterproof it is. I took it to the pool and even tried it while snorkeling, and it held up perfectly. No fogging, no water issues—it just kept recording as if nothing happened. Being able to trust it up to 52 feet underwater is awesome, especially if you like capturing water activities without needing extra cases or covers. The universal quick mount is another small but super handy feature. The magnetic lock makes it easy to switch between horizontal and vertical shooting, and I don’t have to fiddle with it too much when I want to adjust angles. For someone who likes to keep things quick and simple, that’s a huge plus. The battery life is also decent—around three hours, which is enough for most of my adventures in a single stretch.Overall, I think this action cam is a solid choice for anyone who wants reliable video quality without the hassle. It’s fun, versatile, and gives you confidence whether you’re filming on land, on the road, or underwater. If you’re into vlogging, outdoor activities, or just want something to capture everyday life with a cinematic touch, this camera is worth checking out. It really makes capturing memories feel effortless and fun.

Got it working remotely
UPDATE: The mic 3 receiver works when plugged into the Pro’s USB-C port: The USB cover snaps/clips on and off. Plugging it in directly eliminates the ability to use xtra’s cage/frame. A short extension cable should do it for now.It would be nice if built-in wireless microphone support is added.
