Good product, but need to do QA on packaging.
Very sturdy. Only concern is when it arrived the screws were rolling around loose. I was concerned it would scratch the surface. It was fine and I would buy again.

Bright red and obvious.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Simple to attach to the wall. Clean red box with decent sized extinguisher inside. Had some minor bends during shipping but we straightened them out and you couldn’t tell. Have yet to had to use them in an emergency or have customers/tenants smash their way into the box (despite it being simple to open) after a scented candle got out of hand so can’t speak for how effective they’d be for someone in a wildly panicked state but they’re big, red and keep the fire extinguisher safe. If Amazon decides to send us one for free, we’ll set up a simulation of a jerry-wired office photocopier covered in hairspray getting out of control and video a randomly selected (names in a hat sort of thing) office workers’ response.

I was a little disappointed in this cabinet. I think it’s marginally appropriate for an application like mine, which is a residential indoor application where it won’t be subject to damage, vandalism, or weather.The box is cheaply built, and the steel is very thin- approximately.02 inches, or 24 gauge. The window material is also quite thin and is retained by bent tabs. There is no gasketing or other weatherproofing provision.You’ll need to make your own decision whether this is worth the price for your application.

Not fit for purpose…
Cheap construction. Not fit for purpose. Bought to install in a daycare to keep littles from pulling on the extinguishers. Plexiglass window falls out in the lightest touch, no mechanism to hold the door closed and the thinest metal i have seen for something like this. Absolutely not acceptable. Returned for a cato brand.

Disappointing material and build quality, at this price point. The value isn’t there.
This is a functional cabinet which will do its job, but it is VERY flimsy and cheaply constructed, so much so that it LOOKS cheap. It is lightweight, thin material is used, and everything about it feels like a knock-off or even “set dressing” for a theater or apartment showing– e.g. it doesn’t look “real” up close, but more like the quality you’d expect from a prop. At this price point, I am not only disappointed, but VERY surprised. Fire safety is serious business and deserves serious quality, and this cabinet just isn’t that. The price seems obscene for what you get.
