Founders Stephen Fazio and Austin Hillam invented ZipString during the pandemic. When supply chains were stressed, the team, supported by family and friends, built and shipped thousands of ZipStrings from Johns Creek, Georgia.

Hours of entertainment- 8 and 10 year old
My 10 year old played with this nonstop for a week after his birthday. It was unexpectedly his very favorite gift. He loves fidgets of all kinds and this was very entertaining. We have now gifted it to others because of this.

Works, But Not as Impressive as Expected
I bought the ZipString as a gift, and overall it’s just okay. The packaging was pretty plain—not very exciting or eye-catching, especially for a kid expecting something fun.The product does work, but it’s not quite as impressive as the videos make it seem. It functions as advertised, but the “wow” factor just wasn’t really there in person.It’s a decent toy, but I’d recommend setting expectations a bit lower than what you see in the promotional clips.

Easy to use!
This worked great for us! 3 year old granddaughter wanted a “spider costume and I wanna shoot a web.” I needed to make this happen without the mess of silly string, so her mommy would be happy, too. This Zip String works wonderfully for that purpose. Granddaughter is using the shortest length right now (it comes with three lengths), and she is happy with that. Occasionally the longer strings get a little tangled, but it just takes a second to undo those tangles. Easy to do. This little video is the shortest string.

Worth Every Penny!!

String knots up very often
String gets bound up and knotted quite often. Fun to play with for a few seconds, but annoying to have to stop and unbind the string constantly.

Don’t get your string in a tangle
Ok so as it functions- it’s a good product. We haven’t had any issues with it breaking or anything like that. No safety issues that we’ve run into.We have learned you need to be careful to store the stand in a somewhat organized way or you’ll end up w a giant knot. So keep an eye on that.Does it get used a ton? No. Not really. At first- yes. Our 11 year old does still play with it here and there.

My child’s favourite Christmas gift this year. It does take some time to learn how to use it without it getting tangled (6 year old) but is super easy to detangle. Would buy again. The ability to recharge it rather than needing to replace batteries is a life saver.

As soon as I saw this when advertised at release I knew I had to have one however at that point it was too expensive with the delivery costs from America. I am over the moon to have one now and it was worth the wait. I find it really good fun and a good break from being an adult.As for the cost, is it worth it with the price point being so high from what looks to be so simple? That obviously depends on each individual but for me, no, it isn’t really worth the cost if you look at it purely from a materialistic point of view, but would I buy it again? Most definitely – in fact I already have! The value comes from the enjoyment and fun it brings me.
