Best Steam vaporizer by far!!
Love the Vicks Brand, this steam vaporizer is perfect to use when you need some moisture and steam in the air. I never go without having one of these every year. Easy to clean, works for years, better than the cool mist machines in my opinion. Loosen up stuffy noses and coughs. You must keep this up high on a safe flat surface if you have children who climb and possibly touching the steam and getting burned. The water inside is extremely hot to produce the steam. The outer parts feel warm but won’t burn you, only if it gets knocked over and water comes out.Best vaporizer by far by a trusted brand.

Great for Sinus Relief
I’ve been using the Vicks Warm Steam Vaporizer and I’m really impressed. I used it together with the VapoPads, and it helped clear my sinuses so much better than I expected. THIS GETS EXTREMELY HOT, IT WILL SCOLD ANYONE IF IT GETS PULLED DOWN ON THEM.My family has been battling Influenza A for the past couple of weeks, and congestion has been one of the hardest symptoms for all of us to deal with. I bought this Vicks vaporizer hoping it would help keep some moisture in the air, ease our breathing, and make the nights a little more comfortable. In terms of producing warm mist and adding humidity, it does work — and when you’re sick, that part really matters.But the biggest issue, and the reason I can only give it three stars, is the noise level. This vaporizer is extremely loud. Not just a soft bubbling or gentle hum like I expected — it has a constant, noticeable noise that becomes distracting very quickly. When everyone is exhausted, coughing, and trying to rest, the loudness makes it hard to fall asleep and even harder to stay asleep. It honestly defeats part of the purpose of buying something meant to bring relief and comfort.During the daytime it’s tolerable, but overnight it’s a completely different story. We tried moving it around the room, adjusting water levels, everything — the noise never changed. It works well enough for humidity, but I wish the design allowed it to run more quietly, especially since so many people buy these for sick kids, babies, or anyone needing peaceful rest.Overall, it’s effective but too loud for nighttime use, especially when a family is already miserable and trying to recover. If noise doesn’t bother you, it may be fine. But if you’re looking for something quiet while dealing with cold or flu symptoms, you might want to consider other options.Three stars because it does what it claims — but the noise is a major drawback.

Vaporizer pads not working. Yes vicks.
I bought this 1.5 gal vicks vaporizer last year. Ok with noise and heat. I tried using Vicks vaporizer pads in slots. Two days no vaporizer smell and padsnot dissolving. So I added vaporizer to tray. That works great. I hope vicks will respond because I just ordered a second unit for bedroom for winter. Thanks. Value wise best one yet.

A terrific steam maker! Adjustable humidity! Table salt is the key!
I had terrible nasal congestion, noticed low humidity in my house. Barely 30%. Dug out old fashioned steamer. 40% and everything was wonderful. Unfortunately, 30 year old steam croaked. Visks make this wonderful replacement. Salt is the key. I have no idea why. I’m doing the recommended 1/8 teaspoon, in a unconfined 300 ft room and it does better than 40%? You’ll start steaming up the windows. More salt, it will go 50%, but after that, you start to take the paint off the walls! No filter or seal to mess with, so easy-peasy. It’s just a bucket with a heating element. Simply plug it in! I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks, it’s real darn steady. Real quiet now, I sometimes check to make sure it’s on. Does 12-15 hours easily. Salt makes it quite adjustable. It will go Volcano with enough salt. One more should cover most of the house? A simple solution for little money.

The best
Bought same brand Warm Steam vaporizer before they seem better for colds and don’t leak water like some of the higher end ones with tanks and o rings. Have a 4 bedroom house bought 2 more for other rooms we live on Lake Huron and in the colder months it’s very dry and our throat and nasal passages dry up this one in particular does the best job in individual rooms and eases any toddler congestion. I recommend these for people with kids and everyone who wakes up with dry throat and mouth especially during cold season these are the best and work better than all the higher end ones we wasted money on. Old school is the best still imo run distilled water through them my wife has destroyed vaporizers because of our well water and had scaling mess them up which is why I bought more.

This is an okay product to keep until your high tech warm mist humidifer arrives.
Considering the cost of the product, I will give this a middling score. The shape of the bowl is weird, so draining and hose spray cleaning it is awkward. It does steam, but you have to put more salt in the tank than the instructions advise. The product never steams throughout the night so a draining and refilling is always in order the next morning. It is still a better option than using a unisconic humidifier tho. As soon as my TURBRO 4L humidifier arrives, I will then bring this into the office and use it there.

I have purchased 1.5 Gallon Vicks vaporizer.It didn’t work from the beginning.I asked for replacement.It took more than 20days to replace the product but again the same problem it’s not working.

Este producto lo compré para que mi bb no tuviera resecas las mucosidades durante la noche. Es muy funcional, junta bastante vapor y no gasta mucha energía. Algunas veces hay que ponerle un poco de sal para que produzca cantidad suficiente de vapor. Además, puedes ponerle tabletas vic para que deje un olor a menta. Al producto se le junta una especie de salitre, que de vez en cuando hay que retirar, pero no es complicado.
