Well packed, easy to assemble, sturdy
Very good set, I even bought one more of the side cabinet/archive and it looks great.One thing I would mention is: the desk surface is composed by 4 wood boards (thick, good). Most of them got assembled perfectly, but one of them got a big of a step between the boards. Luckly it’s a part of the desk I don’t access that much, but if I would use this desk without the side cabinet that gap would probably annoy me a lot.

Sturdy
This is a great set, great price, and it’s very sturdy, but a bit time consuming to put it together, especially the drawer stand. But I have figured out how to put it together using YouTube videos and taking my time to really study the instructions. If you take the time and read the instructions and look at the detail, it is clear and concise. It’s just taking me a while to get it done as I take time to research how to do it as I go, so I don’t have to take anything apart. I am putting it together by myself, but there are certain parts that a second person helping would have made it easier, like putting the backside onto the desk part. I am a retired female so if I can do it, anyone can do it lol

Really good set
Desk set comes in pieces but if you take your time and follow their instructions , it will take one person about 3-4 hours to assemble with hand tools only. The wood is particle board , so must use hand tools and carefully else you may damage board. Instructions are very good and highly recommend you read them carefully. Once together , the desk is very study to my surprise with metal framing and looks very nice . The other small piece is good but don’t move around too much on carpet. Overall it’s a nice value and once built don’t move it much … will not hold up to bumps, shifts and pressure that well. If you build in place where it will be it’s perfect for a low cost solution. Recommend for DIY person .

Great Desk
This desk is a like a kit. You put it together. It comes with instructions which we did not find difficult to follow. It was well packaged with great corner protectors and arrived with no shipping damage. I worried about the top being in more than one piece, butthe adjoining pieces do not interfere with aesthetics or functionality of the desk. We did an inventory of parts and pieces as was suggested. It took about 4 hours to assemble the filing cabinet and 3 hours to assemble the desk. I found this desk to be a good size for home use, functional and far more attractive than anything I could find locally. And the price is reasonable. Note that the filing drawer is small as is the drawer for pencils and supplies. Also, one cannot add a center drawer as the frame prevents that. I agonized over purchasing such a large item online. And I admit that sometimes negative reviews do influence me. But I’m happy with this purchase and do not hesitate to recommend it.

Looks cool… Poor Quality.
Way too difficult and time consuming to put together… and I’m pretty experienced. Instructions only get you so far with this manufacturer. Pilot holes missing/not where they are supposed to be… Drawers close too far in or not far enough. Locking door doesn’t close flush. The pilot holes for the latch are in the wrong place. The wheel locks don’t do their job so I removed those. I also bought their file cabinet, a disaster. Cannot recommend this highly advertised manufacturer. Regret not spending more on a better quality product.

Great product. Even better seller
First, I would like to say I do not usually leave reviews for products and this is a product review but more so a seller review as well. The desk is very solid and looks very nice for the price. Do not expect a mahogany executive desk set for the penthouse and you will be well pleased. It is very functional and very easy to put together. The shippers treated it like a rag doll yet the packaging was sufficient enough to protect it from any damage. Now, on to the real reason I am writing. I wrote with a question about only one package arriving and got a quick response from the seller and had the second tracking number in a few hours. I also sent pictures of the rough boxes and the seller said if there were any issues let them know and they would promptly fix the issue. They are a great company to do business with and will happily buy from them in the future. Thanks for a great experience and product.

Buyer Beware Difficult Assembly Ahead
This desk is well designed and sturdy and is a practical solution for storage, and it looks exactly as pictured. HOWEVER it does not have good assembly instructions and the way it is written , or should I say not written…there are pictures, few words , if any and a complete lack of useful ones…as in right, left, top, bottom, etc. To begin with, you have to attach the casters on the base of the storage unit and as I found to be the case in all the places that required screws , they sre not pre-drilled, there are marks where the screws should go, but this material is very hard to screw into…especially in some of the positions where the screws must be used..so the four caster markings did not match the hardware holes and thus it was hard to line up the screws and hard to screw them in. The limited directions and the lack of pre-drilled screw holes makes this much more difficult and time-consuming than it should have been. note: the last part of the drawers on the storage unit piece , what should been the easy part, installing the handles…was made more complicated because the screws that are packaged with the handles do not work, There are others in the box that do. Still, an annoying issue but is easily fixed once you figure it out.

Very happy with my purchase
I went back and forth on desk options. I’m very pleased with my decision. The quality and instructions were very good. It’s a lot of pieces but have patience….it really wasn’t bad. I recommend an electric screwdriver to help speed things up. This should work for good while. The desk is a great size and the storage is good.
