Great dimmer switch
I really like this switch. I now have 3 separate purchases of this item. I really like the dimmer slider. I don’t really care about he tiny red light I can hardly see when light is off but prefer this switch over all other dimmers I have tried

Works fine, looks fine, and easy to connect… (but maybe a little flicker)
Outwardly, these dimmer switches look quite normal, though they have a tiny little red LED just above the paddle. And they work as any dimmer switch should. The dimmer slide is a bit bigger than others, making it easy to find with your fingers. The slide is also easy to move.One thing important to me is the type of connection, and it’s hard to discern from the marketing pictures. I was pleasantly surprised. The box has screws on the side, so you can curl the wires around the screws and tighten down, if that’s what you want to do. But it also has stab holes in the back that are secured by the screws. Except for the ground hole, all connections have two holes, and the holes are clearly labeled. That makes connection a breeze, and it’s preferable to the stab holes that just grab the wire. Summary: I would buy these again.UPDATE for a knock on them: I have noticed a bit of flicker on strings of LED fixtures. Less than 100 W total on any fixture, but they flicker noticeably though not constantly. The flicker can usually be eliminated by moving the dimmer setting slightly. Nevertheless, this is disappointing for otherwise good devices.

Does not work well and died within a few days
The functionality of this didn’t work right out of the box. It sort of worked for a couple of days, and now it won’t turn on at all. It would sometimes dim, but not all the time. And sometimes the switch and/or dimmer just wouldn’t do anything. Unfortunately I didn’t install it until after the return window.

Flickers
These were easy enough to install, however a few of them flicker at times. I can’t figure out why. My husband installed them on every light switch in the house (he’s an over achiever) so it probably bugs me more than those who are must going to put them on a few switches. I do like the ease of using the dimmer, the look, and thus far they seem durable. The price was also very fair.

A Very Nice Dimmer Switch at a Good Price
These dimmer switches do not have attached wires as do the ones I am familiar with. I almost returned them, thinking they were defective. Then, after carefully reading the instructions, I realized that they are made to function this way, a more user-friendly build than the old-fashioned ones. The dimmer switches were easy to install and work well. I ordered a set of 5, anticipating 2 spares after fixing 3 broken switches. A fourth old switch broke soon afterwards, so I fortunately still have a spare. If I need more I will order again from this seller.Why did you pick this product vs others?:The price was reasonable, and the product as described met my needs.

Difficulty installing wires
My daughter, who is an electrician and installed these for me called them junk. Had a very difficult unscrewing and re-screwing the posts to install the electrical connections. The compression holes don’t seem to work either. Once installed, the switches seem to work well and look attractive compared to the old ‘knob’ style I had before.
