Same size as a major brand thermostat it replaced and even used the same mounting holes. It took maybe 10 minutes to install. Works great and the temperature is accurate.

Upgrade from my vintage thermostat
Since moving into our new home 7 years ago, I have had one of the old school thermostats. While I love vintage items, this is one thing I need to be digital. I think it’s recommended to set your thermostat at 72 or 78 degrees to help keep your Entergy bill low, but I cannot set my ac that high. I am going through menopause and generally run hot. I have finally found the perfect setting; it stays cool in our home all day and at night gets down to around 65 degrees, in the morning and at night, at least according to my old thermostat. The temp I set it at doesn’t cause my ac lines to freeze up. However, the thermostat says it’s set around 66-68 degrees. Now, I can see the exact setting the ac is on, as well as the heat in winter. It was fairly easy to install, and now I will know the exact temperature I am setting on the thermostat.

Non programmable, but it has higher end features
I got this for a rental where I don’t want a programmable thermostat. They are too complicated and always cause problems. This thermostat has some compressor timeout and minimum run time features that will make it more efficient and easier on the compressor. This uses 2 AA batteries, which is very convenient when they need changed. It seemed very easy to set up with the menu and the setup button right there on the screen. The manual was very clear and easy to read so setting up the features will be straightforward.

I really can’t say how well this product works since I ordered it as a backup for the hot summer months, just in case my thermostat I replaced 2 months ago, dies. It seems like it’s similar quality but for 2/3rds of the price so we’ll see.
