It is important to wash the pads in order to remove any loose lint or fibers from the pad that might have occurred in packaging or in transport. Easy powerful steam cleaner
I bought this on a whim because it was on sale for prime day, and I am so glad I did because this is so easy to use and works incredibly well. I consider myself a clean person, I don’t wear shoes in the house, I’m organized and vacuum the floors frequently. Before I got this I had been using a bona floor swiffer to clean my hardwood floors. The first time I used this, I was shocked at how dirty my floors were! This steamer is really powerful and please don’t be grossed out by the photo, but that was after using it for 5 minutes over my living room hardwood floors. It’s fast and easy to use, and my floors look great afterwards and I know they’re clean, clean now. It’s super simple to set up. You just pour water into it. And pump the steamer handle and steam comes out and it glides really easily across the floors. Great for a quick refresh before guests come over or just something to incorporate into your regular cleaning routine. It works great on my hardwood floors and tile floors in the bathroom.

Shark Steam Mop
Really like the Shark SteamSpot Steam Mop with Steam Blaster. Easy to assemble. I really like the water tank is large and the steam blaster. The steam is quick and quiet. It cleans well. The Shark Steam Mop stands up on its own which is helpful. My only negative is the cord isn’t long enough. I bought an extension cord which was an easy fix. I would recommend this product.

Does a great job. Have always wanted to try a steam mop and this is light enough for me to use. Does a good job on a marble tile kitchen floor and tile bathroom floors. I machine wash the pad. No problems. I like that I can flip the pad to use both sides.

Made My DIY Grout Cleaning Project Much Easier With Better Results – Grout Looks Like New !
If you have tile floors, this product is a must. I replaced my original which lasted for years. I suspect it quit cuz’ I never used distilled water in the reservoir as directed. I undertook a large DIY project of cleaning all the grout in my house (~2,000 sq ft). Scrubbing time on my knees using a grout brush with multiple applications of Clorox Cleanup. Cleaning the floor after grout scrubbing was much easier with the Shark steam mop. Order more bonnets that come with the product on AMZN is a suggestion. Lot of rinsing the bonnets in the sink / in washing machine.As a follow up to keeping the grout clean in the future, rater than use a swifter like product, I now use clean bonnets after pre-treating high traffic areas with Clorox Cleanup. You can also spray the bonnet with Clorox cleanup as you are steam mopping floors but I found it is not as effective as pre-treating the tile in advance (and letting it sit for a while) to bleach out grout stains. Grout comes out terrific.

Another Shark Win
I am a huge fan of Shark products and this one doesn’t disappoint. It is so easy to use, you just fill the reservoir, let it heat up for a minute, give it a few pumps to get the steam going, and you are ready to go. I love that it comes with 2 pads because even moping once a week my floors are wrecked (German Shepard and kids). I use both pads at once to do my house. Sometimes on a touch spot you have to push down on with your foot on the pad to work it out but it’s not bad. The steam dries so quickly too so you don’t have to worry about keeping people (or pets) off the floor for a long time; just a few minutes. The steam mop is very easy to steer and is light weight so lots of people would be comfortable to use it. Very slim too so it’s easy to store when not in use.

Better than a non-steam mop, but slower. Lack of extra mop name brand pads a huge negatives.
I like the intent but I don’t like that I can’t buy more mop heads (name brand) in bulk so that I can switch out pads as the one I’m using gets dirty. The generics don’t work as well. There is some solid friction until the mop head gets wet and the steam doesn’t come out as well as it could – I’ve found it’s better to pre-wet the mop head. I do like that it has a cord so that I don’t have to get part way done and then have the battery die. I think that it does a better job than a non-steam mop – but is slower.

Great for Tough Messes
I’ve been really impressed with the Shark Steam Pocket Mop! It works incredibly well on old, dried-on messes and leaves my floors looking noticeably cleaner. It heats up quickly, and the steam power makes a big difference in lifting dirt without needing harsh chemicals. The mop pads are easy to attach and wash, and they do a great job grabbing onto grime.The only downside is the short power cord—it limits mobility a bit and requires more frequent unplugging/replugging if you’re cleaning larger areas. Other than that, this steam mop is a solid performer and makes cleaning a lot easier and more effective.

I have to say my method of cleaning the kitchen floor is to wrap a wet j-cloth round a broom and go over the floor with it. Housework isn’t my forte. But my husband loves this gadget, and it seems to give him great pleasure to clean the kitchen floor with it, even when it doesn’t need doing. Actually the mop thing seems to remove a good deal of invisible dirt, so obviously it needs doing more than I thought. The floor dries quickly, and you just throw the mop thing in the washing machine. Job done! As long as I don’t have to do it.Edit: Having read the other reviews, I looked closer at the gadget, and it is true that you have to add a UK adaptor for the machine to work. Personally I would take a star off for this, but as I say, my husband loves it, and as he is the one who uses it, what can I say?

con el Shark la boquilla esta mucho mas limpio. Tengo un perro y cuando ella toma agua la mitad sale la boca y deja manchas en la boquilla. El Shark limpia la boquilla y todo el piso es mejor.
