Adorable little desktop humidifier! Hints/advice!
I got this little humidifier for my desk at work and it is exactly what I need. It gives the perfect amount of steam for my personal space while making almost no noise.I read a bunch of reviews before deciding which USB desktop humidifier to get, and I want to give some tips that I think will probably address some of the 1-3 star reviews!1. I’ve seen some reviews saying that they opened it and it never worked. Be patient! The cotton filter has to fully saturate before the full steam stream starts coming out. When you first turn it on, nothing comes out, then you’ll se a tiny trickle of steam for a few minutes, then the vapor will start coming out as it should.2. For people saying that it broke after a few weeks: make sure you change the filter, especially if you aren’t filling it with filtered water. (Definitely fill it with filtered water if you have it available! Unfiltered water will make you need to change the filter faster.)3. For people saying that it’s not powerful enough for your purposes, and this is a big one! Now, this thing is tiny so it is never going to provide enough steam to humidify an entire room, but I figured out a great trick that amplifies the amount of steam coming out of it significantly. Fill it with warm water! It still comes out as cool vapor because of the way the humidifier works, but because of the fact that warm water soaks into the filter faster than cool or room temperature water, it creates a much more powerful spray of steam!!4. Not lasting long. If you want it to last longer before you need to refill it, put cooler water in it. If you do that, the spray won’t be as powerful as it is with room temperature or warm water but it’ll last a full 8 hour work day or overnight on your bedside table–I know this from having filled mine up with the office water cooler cold water and the water lasted all day, for the ride home, and then for half of the next day. But if you want more powerful spray and want to use warm water with it, you’re going to have to refill it. And if you either don’t want to or can’t leave your desk to do that, I suggest keeping a thermos with you that you can use to refill it with!

Cute.easy set up and it works.
OK I know everyone has said this, but it is so very cute. It was a really quick and easy set up. Are used another reviewer suggestion, and filled it with filtered water. The instructions say to wait about five minutes before trying to start the mister so that the water can absorb into the cotton inside. After that it started right up and started misting right away. The color changing light is very peaceful and pleasant. The misting is nice and cool and makes almost no sound. It’s about as tall as a soda can. I don’t know how effective it will be at actually creating a viable amount of humidity. The only drawback is that, although it comes with a USB cable does not include the plug for the USB. I know a lot of us have extras laying around, but it would’ve been nice to have been included. But overall, five stars on cuteness alone.

so cute and it works well HOWEVER when i opened it up to fill it and opened the wick retainer/cover the tiny spring flew right out and was lost so i had to use a paperclip to replace it.

If it doesn’t work most likely it needs a new filter
Bought this for my tropical plants I keep in my room. Had this for 3 months and so far it’s good. I only add filtered water and change the filter once a month. It will let you know it needs a new filter when it’s no longer producing a nice flow of mist.-Make sure you let the filter soak water for 30 seconds or a min. Then properly attach it.-Make sure it’s filtered/drinkable water. Regular tap would calcifie it over time.-Change filter once a month.Press the button once for mist, press it a second time for slight pause, mist. Press it a third time and it turns off.Hold the button to turn on the light, hold it again to turn it off.It does turn off automatically when water runs out –I’ve also noticed it turns off even before it runs out.

Poor Quality misting
This unit is really cute and easy to use. I followed instructions, not easy to do, as the print is real small.At first I was very impressed. I liked that you could pick continuous mist or intermittent. I was using it as an emergency back up, as my full sized humidifier pooped out. I put this little humidifier by my bed and put it on intermittent, so that the water tank would not go dry before morning. Well, on the good side, it had water left in the reservoir, the Bad side, it’s mist caused LOTS of water droplet accumulation on the unit itself and everything around it!! Wish I had tried this unit out before it was to late to return. 🙁

Died after about a month
I loved it for the whole month that it worked. It’s so cute, lasts for many hours and has good scent. But it died after only 1 month of use 🙁

It’s cute but that’s about it. Right from the start it was acting up. Light working, not working. The humidifier does the same works, doesn’t work. Turn it on and off. Not worth it
