Amazon has these back in stock at a reasonable price!I enjoy Planters Trail Mix, Fruit & Nut, 2-Ounce Bags along with my bottle of cold water at least 4 early mornings every week. I order this specific trail mix and provide these individual servings to my other workout buddies as well (great to have friends jog/walk together, insuring no excuses to sleep in). Other buddies provide the water.We’ve all naturally lost excess weight over the last 2 years with our made-up program. This trail-mix has been a part of the equation of success with our healthful breakfast and exercise. This product’s combo of dried fruit, including Papaya, Raisins, Banana Chips, Pineapple, Cranberries, along with mixed nuts makes this the best tasting and good-for-us trail-mix after our workouts. Eating so well, after these pre-sunrise workouts puts me in the right frame of mind for the rest of the day and has helped me stay focused and eat well at lunch and dinner. I sometimes eat one of these as an afternoon snack too.One small warning: Under Amazon subscribe and save, I do have to often order this version of trail mix at least 20 days in advance before running out of my supply as this trail-mix must be popular to other Amazon consumers as well, as this specific product is often backordered on Amazon. Bottom line, I’ve tried many trail mixes and this is the brand+mix that is the best combining a great mixture of dried fruit along with mixed nuts.

Planters Fruit and Nut Trail Mix is Delicious and Portable
I bought the box of trail mix to distribute to my friend’s three daughters in Canada and Senegal. I get them one at a time as our local casinos and pass them on to my friend, if I don’t eat them. I prefer the mix with chocolate in them, but the tropical fruit and nut mix is preferred by my friend’s daughter, so I treated them. I think they’re tasty and a nice snack while I try to extract money from the casino. It’s often a light lunch for me if the casino doesn’t come through with a nice gain from my play. If you’ve been to a casino you know they are not often generous with their payouts. I’m an idiot to continue to play, but have been more than lucky often enough.

Perfect snack for spicy food lovers, but don’t order too much
I knew with almost 600 five-star reviews, something was up with this stuff. It’s almost the perfect snack. My favorite part is the sesame sticks. My wife loves the corn nuts, and there seem to be a lot of them. If you don’t like corn nuts or if you don’t like spicy foods, these may not be for you.The 390 mg of sodium per 2 oz. serving is just beyond my personal target max of 300 mg, so I would limit this to no more than twice per week, or share. Lots of luck with that :)Yes, I confirmed that as of November, 2014, the package size is indeed 2 ounces, not less like someone else claimed in a two year old review. Also, I have a lot code or date code of 5073X8. Based on other reviews, I’m decoding this to mean that mine are fresh until the 73rd day of 2015, which is sometime in March. That’s only four months, so I’m docking a star. I expect that these are supposed to have a one year shelf life, so perhaps they sat in the warehouse for eight months 🙁

Really, these are wonderful. If you’re counting nutrition values, it’s so easy to grab one of these since you know how much it’ll cost you in calories. At first I thought that I could just go to a brick and mortar store and buy all of the ingredients in bulk and then make these myself, but what a headache.These are easy. Just grab and go. We’ve had them as snacks while watching TV. I thought of them when assembling some survival backpacks after recent earthquakes. I imagine they’d be great to stash in a purse and glove compartment, not only as food if your car breaks down, but a healthy and satisfying snack when you find yourself getting hungry as you’re running errands. That would save the money and nutritional wasteland of making a bad decision by hitting a fast food restaurant.So buy them, enjoy them, stash them in your car and briefcase, and use Subscribe and Save to make it cheaper. Good stuff!
