Webcam for Live
You can use the camera as webcam for video chat, conference or live.
After connecting the computer and the camcorder using the equipped USB cable, then selecting “PC Camera”, open the corresponding video device software to call this camera can be video chat, conference or live.
Warm Tips:
1) Regarding the SD card: Please remember to format the SD card upon first use. You can do this by finding the “Format” function in the system settings. We recommend using U3 resolution.
2) Regarding choosing the appropriate resolution: We recommend using 4K 60FPS for smoother and clearer video quality.
3) Recording cannot be paused during recording in ‘Slow Motion Recording’ and ‘Time-lapse Recording’ modes.
4) Please do not place the device horizontally on the desktop as this may obstruct the normal operation of the pan-tilt unit.
5) Regarding connecting to WiFi: Please turn on WiFi in the device settings, then open the WiFi option in your phone’s settings. Find the WiFi network with the name “M5_XXX” and enter the password “12345678”. After successful connection, open the app and click “Connect to this device”.
6) Regarding the USB cable: The M5 requires a USB cable to connect to the computer to use the webcam function. Please remember to enable the camera in your computer’s settings first.
7) To ensure smooth recording without lag, the system will automatically record in segments once the recording memory reaches 4GB. You can use video merging software on your computer to combine them into a single video.

Great quality
This camera is compact and easy to carry around. The flip screen makes it simple to adjust angles while recording, and I found the menu options fairly straightforward. The battery lasted through my short recording sessions. The included accessories are useful, and the setup did not take much time. The picture quality is decent for quick videos and photos. Overall, it does the job for basic recording needs.

You get what you pay for.
This is a great starter camera if you’re not looking to spend a lot of money. The best resolution to film in is 4K30FPS indoors (in my opinion). When filming yourself and flipping the camera, it picks things up backwards, which is something I don’t like, but it’s not a deal breaker. The sound of the camera is low, and I recommend that you order a microphone, but that’s not a deal breaker for me either. Overall, you get what you pay for, so be mindful to set realistic expectations before purchasing. Finessing the functionality and quality of the camera can go a long way!

Very nice camera. Looks small but this thing is very versitle and the pictures are really good quality. Comes with a lot of extra tools for connections, charing, and much more. Its small so this can easily fit in your purse and maybe even pockets.

Awesome mini cam gor the price
Great cam takes excellent videos and pictures! Night vision is and awesome features even more expensive competitors are lacking!!! Just wish a firmware upgrade would come out to fix the face tracking feature…while it does track its not always on point.

The M5 Struggles in Certain Situations
After using it for a while I have some observations.Pros: 1. Good price as compared to other similar cameras, but you get what you pay for.2. Image stabilization is good.Cons (In no particular order): 1. The camera struggles in bright light. The video is washed out and blues disappear.2. In low light situations or indoors the camera also struggles.3. The gimble is slow to react. It’s a step behind. It also has issues with tracking the subject that is in the frame.4. Sound quality is not good so you will need to purchase an external mic, but beware. I tried to connect 2 different high quality ext mics to the M5’s USB port and neither of them would work. Customer support told me not to connect any ext mics to the USB port because the connection will fail. They said the only acceptable connection for a mic is to the 3.5 mm TRS jack.What is the point of including a USB port if you can’t connect accessories to it.5. You can only film in 6 minutes segments. Every 6 minutes a new video file is created.
