For the price, exceed expectations beyond limits!
I always wanted to have a projector for large screen viewing, but never wanted to settle for anything less than the best that can fit in the budget. Now we know that ‘best’ and ‘budget’ are not really complimentary, so I decided to loosen up on the ‘budget’ and go towards the ‘best’ – and honestly, I picked another brand and did order that – paid!Waiting excitedly, though not happy with the amount I did spend; I was still looking for something out there and happened to see this Vamvo L6200 1080p projector. Now, what I ordered was 4k and this was 1080p, yet some of the impressive set of features of Vamvo, were missing in the one I ordered (e.g., few simple things such as, audio out, speakers, etc.).The price I paid for the Epson was 7 times the Vamvo’s price. I decided to give this one a try – remember – this is my first projector ever. I canceled the order for the other projector and ordered this one.Totally zero expectations – I was sure, it is not going to be a great experience and eventually, I will return this. But, here is the story:Not having any white screen, I started projection on the wall (yellow wall, can you believe it?) Know what, it was not bad. I actually watched a full episode on Netflix, just like that; Didn’t even realize that anything was missing – windows were open – evening lights coming from outside, and the sound coming from the speakers was actually good.Did set up a white sheet (not an actual screen) by the evening, and wow! the experience was amazing. Literally! It was dark by the time, white screen, darkroom and I watched a full movie without any complaints or regrets, actually enjoying the big screen experience.Now some technicalities:1. Using Chromecast is a breeze (see picture), just plug it in the projector itself and you are good.2. Audio coming from the projector is no less than how it comes from the TV. Unless you are picky, you would not complain.3. Picture quality, 1080p. Nothing less, nothing more!4. Lamp brightness – excellent for dark rooms when it comes to entertainment. However, it is sufficiently bright for powerpoints even during normal room light conditions.5. Picture size: I did not cross 120″ depending upon the distance I placed it, but it can go more and still no degradation on quality.6. I watched it at times sitting behind the projector and at times sitting in front, and the remote never forced me to do any directional twists. I happened to just generally use the remote, as we do any remote and it is perfect.7. Keystone shift adjustment is ok, and sharpness control (by lens rotation) is decent (use a static picture to set the sharpness and it’s easy). Vertical and horizontal positioning of the image can only be controlled by projector placement. Horizontally, it should be right in front of the screen and for vertical adjustment, there is a support-padel at the bottom that can be extended as required. Just ensure that you place it on a flat surface, even a minute invisible slope on the surface can tilt the image. That’s why I used a flat wooden board when I faced this.8. Zoom not possible without moving projector; and IMHO, this is not even expected from a projector of this price range. And frankly speaking, how often do you do that, once set the screen and projector’s location and direction why would you play with that. What’s the point for paying for features which we use less often and there can be a manual way of doing it, to some extent.9. Input sources as per specs are all there and work fine. I did not try VGA though.10. The external feel and texture is decent and does not look cheap at all. In-fact the cover-box is good for long term storage and moving around. I am not using that though, because I am eventually fixing it in one place. But I can see the usage and it is great.Now, after two weeks of viewing experience, PowerPoint usage, even casual working on a large screen, this is worth every penny.Definitely this is not one of that super sharp 4k experience that I would want to have when I set up an individual home theatre room, but this is no less for a make-shift home movie experience. Adding a Dolby Atmos surround sound soundbar for the complete living room movie experience. The picture quality is just great, already.Now I really don’t have any cons to talk about, who cares about the length of the power cord, not having a battery of the remote, and with decent movie sound, any fan-noise anyways don’t come up. Practically, I did not hear any loud noise anyways. I mean come on, it is under $300. Definitely, definitely a satisfying buying from all aspects.

Really surprised with the picture quality. After reading lot of comments, I chosen this one. Feeling good, very good picture quality with Hi-Fi sound. The sound is loud enough even for the big room. Personally loved the ports given for this device. Especially 5V output port is very useful for connecting a fire stick or an any casting device. Value for money and worth to buy. Thank you Vamvo!

I am so impressed with this Mini Portable Projector! It’s super compact and lightweight, making it perfect for camping trips and outdoor movie nights. Despite its small size, the picture quality is crystal clear and supports HD 1080P beautifully. Setup was a breeze — just plug in via HDMI or USB, and you’re good to go! The brightness and color quality are surprisingly good for such a portable device.I’ve used it for home theater nights, projecting on a blank wall, and even outside on a sheet while camping — and every time it has delivered a fantastic experience. It also makes a great gift idea for friends or family who love movies or traveling. Highly recommend!

Very surprised how crisp the image was! Of course it needs to be quite dark. Sound is good too, can use external speakers if you want to, but the speakers it has is also quite loud. The fan isn’t loud at all. Comes with a great carrying case to keep it safe. The price point is reasonable, it’s about double the price of the lower end ones you can find, but the quality of it is more than double! Only thing to note is that you need your own adaptors if you want to use your phone or iPad to watch. Side tip: if you download your show or movie off of your streaming service ie. Netflix, then turn off your WiFi you can play your movie/show no problem.
