Cute, lightweight, easy to use
In person it looks more plastic-y than the more glasslike images, but it’s also a darker green than the images, which helps (at least imo). I do recommend green over white/gray, since dirt that falls through is less noticeable.It doesn’t feel flimsy – it’s not extremely thick, but it’s enough for small plants. Also, the lightness enables hanging it up from curtain rods without bending them over time. (Mine is the 5.3 inch, so I can’t say how the 8.3 would hold up though.)Overall I love it! For me, it’s exactly what I was looking for.

Beautiful decor
Love these pots!!! Perfect for my hanging plants. Looks very sleek and easy to essemble. Drainage holes are perfect and the ropes are just the right length. Absolutely will be buying more of these!!!

First) these are adorable. They are plastic and not as heavy as I thought they would be but they are sturdy enough.Second) don’t be like me and forget to check the measurements. These are 6.5 inch planters. Which is fine, which is great- I just had to pad the planters for my plants a little so they could sit inside these without wobbling around. As you can see in the pics my plants will need to grow into these. But I’m fine with that because I literally just very recently got “into” house plants lolThirdly) the chains are a bit shorter than I thought. We did buy 9″ extenders (Pictured on the left 👈 in the pics), so we could stagger them.Lastly, I want to repeat, these are super cute and my pics don’t do them justice, they look fantastic against the window with the light behind them but today is stormy so it’s hard to see that in the pictures. I can’t wait for my plants to grow into these fully. Happy with this buy.Edit: added a new pic today 4/29/2023 as it is a sunny day. You can see how nice they look in the window. My plants have grown into these a bit and they are holding up nicely. I do not use the self watering feature on these as I keep succulents and cacti but it is useful for allowing water to drain which is key to keeping my guys happy. You may have noticed, the plant situation has gotten out of hand here >.< haha. Also the planter hanging in the foreground of the 3rd pic has the 9" extender which I recommend if you want to stagger them or just have them hang closer to eye level. Those come in 2 packs. Still happy with my buy!

They are beautiful
The reviews are a bit frustrating on these so I would like to clear up some things. The string if you scroll down a bit you will see goes into the white plastic piece to where the water is to give the water to the soil. I would still check to make sure they are getting watered properly just to be sure as depending on soil and plants it could vary on need. Just because it is self watering does not mean you can just forget them. Yes the outer shell is plastic however it is a durable plastic and for the price of two it’s not that bad of a price considering how high everything is getting In price anyway. The chain is high quality and they do look much more expensive it’s only when you touch or mess with them will you be able to tell that it is plastic. I highly recommend these planters as they are durable, worth the price and beautiful.

Nice looking plastic planters
I was looking for hanging planters that wont leak all over the floor every time I water my plants. These look nice and don’t leak everywhere. Only thing I’m still waiting to see if my plants like them. They are a bit smaller than I thought, the planter part not the outer holder the actual pot sits in. I put a single spider plant in each of the 2 planters and within weeks the roots are coming out the bottom looking to get to the water beneath, i’m thinking they outgrew the pots already, only time will tell.

These hanging planters look really nice and are a good size, but the self-watering feature isn’t as effective as I hoped. The design is cute and they’re sturdy enough, but the water reservoir doesn’t hold much and the wicking system doesn’t always keep the soil evenly moist. I still find myself having to water manually to make sure my plants don’t dry out. They work fine as regular hanging pots, just not the best if you truly need low-maintenance selfwatering.

These are perfect for hanging plants. It has a wicking system that has worked well for my plants. I was disappointed at first, because they are plastic, not glass; but less weight to hang. They are perfect, and beautiful color.

Lovely-Durable-Great Size
I love the size, color and metal chain to hang this for our plants. I removed the drainage as I’ve got these two plants hanging over big pots directly below them giving those plants extra water. They’re easy to put together and look great in our yard. I’ve received several people asking where I got them from.
