This thing is awesome.
I’m going as Clint Eastwood and needed a cigar. This thing is soft (not hard plastic) and the end looks real. Love it.

Funny and worked great!
I bought this prop cigar for my boyfriend’s costume for a theme party. It was a little skinnier and less sturdy than I expected, however, it lit up like a champ! It didn’t seem to need moistness to light up; if we just touched the sensor at the end with our fingers it seemed to light up.Let’s just say we ended up winning the costume contest and I think the light up cigar helped edge us out over other teams!It was also so “realistic” that the waitress at the restaurant actually scolded my boyfriend for smoking. He said, “It’s fake, there’s no smoke. There’s a battery!” and she still frowned and continued to berate us for smoking on the patio! It took her awhile to realize she was fooled…

Took time to get it working.
Bought this for my gangster costume. There’s mini round metal points that you have to damp with your tongue or finger and hold it there until it lights up. I messed around with it a bit and it didn’t work so I gave up. Later that day I decided let’s try it again. Followed the directions and I even wriggles the cigar and pressed it thinking maybe a loose connection…after about 1min of messing around and keeping my thumb on the metal tip of the cigar, it started working. It worked great! Got lots of compliments. So in the end it was worth the money.

A fun addition to the costume.
Happy with the fake cigar. It’s a firm plastic that has give so it can easily and somewhat comfortably be gripped between your teeth. Of course it’s not going to fool anyone into thinking it’s real but it does a decent job of mimicking a real one. The tip that lights up is the best part.

Garbage
I don’t leave reviews. I usually can’t be bothered unless something is really good beyond expectations or complete junk. I had low expectations here but it was cheap enough to take the risk. My low expectations proved to be high. The package looks like it was 50 years old, it doesn’t light up, likely due to a dead battery, and you can’t replace it. The rubber is breaking down and dusty. It smells… bad… and you’re supposed to put it in your mouth. It’s not all bad though… it is brownish, and it’s roughly the shape of a small cigar…

Did the job for one Halloween night
I got this for a Halloween costume and it does the job. It looks like a cigar and the end lights up red when you touch your tongue.But it feels a bit flimsy, like it will disintegrate if I use it too long. I only needed it for one night but I’d think twice before using it for a long time like for theater. I also don’t think you can wash it so I would not share it with others.

Read the reviews and was skeptical but bought it anyways. Fun little gadget to cosplay as characters who are know for cigars such as Logan the Wolverine. I was confused on how the light up feature works and its literally like a touch sensor at the mouth piece. Its good enough and for the price you can’t complain much. Very happy with my purchase
