High end look for less.
I was nervous about ordering this and receiving it undamaged. It was delivered safely and I am happy I ordered it. Reviews are correct, looks beautiful, high end, sturdy, and will probably have slight imperfections but you are also not paying hundreds of dollars. The black has a lightly textured matte finish. I am using it for a faux tree in my living room.

Elegant Planter
Elegant planter great fit and it will definitely elevate your room! I ordered the antique blue and I received antique grey which I also liked. It is a little on the heavier side especially after filling it and can chip easily. I would recommend adding a mat underneath since it can scratch your floor. It is a bit pricier and took some time to receive.

Class Results
Looking for classy tall and semi large diameter planter..I was and this fit the bill at a reasonable price point. I purchased a total of 22 all applications are outdoors. Planted Nova and Blue Glow Agaves [mature size 18” tall 18” diameter] minimal water to maintain and very low maintenance. Some important considerations are the mature size of the plant for the planter and how to properly fill the planter.Hope the following help’s.There are two large precast styrofoam inserts to secure the planter in its shipping box. Take these and use single edge razor to cut into 4×4 squares. Use barrier landscaping cut 10×10 insert in bottom. Drop in 10-14 styrofoam cut pieces then on top of the blocks pour in styrofoam peanuts to fill voids. Layer in 10×10 “better than rock” pad on top of peanut fill, layer in another 10×10 barrier landscaping. The plants I used were in 5 gallon container I then inserted them and added a 1 cubic foot bag of plam/ cactus/citrus planting soil from HD. Secured plant the cut 2” wide strips landscape barrier filling in around the plant and tucking in around planter edge. Filled in on top of barrier 3/4” landscaping rock color Copper Rose.Planter color “weathered concrete”.Why the landscaping barrier? It helps to mitigate the soil fines from exiting the planter through the drain outlet and also from plugging, and promotes effective drainage. On top the barrier keeps the rock floating on top of the soil and not sinking.Amount of styrofoam filling will determined by your desired plant depths or height, mature plant size, and type of root system. During the planting I used Miracle Gro General Plant Food Shake & Feed fertilizer. The planter is supplied with plug remove if not to be used. I also purchased planter stand-off’s [plastic triangle on Amazon difficult to see when in place] using 4 per planter to elevate the pot when water drains it is not trapped and potentially discolor the concrete. This planting solution is cost effective provides excellent draining, makes for more manageable weight and yet heavy enough to keep them from being moved without consent! Final weight ~50 lbsBTW the planter filling technique I described is one I found on line from many sources.Material Cost analysis per planter as follows: $108 planter, styrofoam peanuts $1.50, potting soil $7.47, Landscaping Barrier $0.50, Better Than Rock $2.00, Plant $34 wholesale nursery, $2.00 planter stand off’s, Copper Rose 3/4” Rock $0.10 note truck load was purchased for landscaping project nevertheless a bag cost is insignificant. More than 5 to plant pre prep all your components two people can do about 10 in day..Total $155.57 plus tax and labor. Plants in photos I have provided are ~30% of mature full size.Always reference your “Grow Zone” for proper plant selection along with direct, indirect sun exposure, and watering cycle, for successful selection.Do it correctly the first time you will always be pleased you did so. Not accurate dark brown
The dark brown is not dark brown, love the size and shape. It is heavy and tall, but the color is like a matte brown, much lighter than the description.
