Great kit that includes everything you need
This kit has everything you need to clean long out of your dryer vent. It is very easy to use and worked great. I got so much lint out of my vent and now my dryer is able to work again.

Worked like a charm
Acquired this for the vent in my primary residence that was previously owned by three other families. What did I learn while using this in a tight working space (condenser on the left and right, hedge bush in front of it).1. Attach one extension at a a time, route it forward, withdraw it and allow debris to be removed. Then add the next as needed.2. Have two pairs of pliers – when you have to add another extension, the end component that goes into the drill is impossible to remove by hand. I think this is by design3. When finished, each extension will also require two pairs of pliers to loosen the connection between the two parts.4. Ensure your vent cover is also manually cleaned (by hand/brushes, air compressor)5. Ensure you have silicone on hand to provide an outer seal and to keep the critters out!QUALITY: SolidFIT: this fit both the vent and the drillFUNCTION: I used the larger/wider brush and the brush, rods/extensions and the 1/4 inch drill adapter functioned well. The extensions have plenty of bend/give to them.VALUE: clogged vents are a known fire hazard. Preventing a future fire is wisdomPRICE: reasonable, comparableI wouldn’t call this a fast process, but the components design and function make this more speedy than other manual methods. And how much lint was there? A Basketball sized amount was removed from a 20 ft run

Needs to be more flexible. Perhaps made from steel wire
The product works as advertised. You’ll connect a series of plastic rod extentensions until you reach the desired length. It will blean the dryer vent. In my specific case, two of the plastic rods twisted and broke (separated) while using it. Luckly close to the drill side so I didn’t have to fish the other piece inside the dryer vent tube. This is because I was trying to go through 2-3 tight 90 deg bends. The rods are not that flexible and the force required to bend them through the bends might be to much. So, I wouldn’t recommend it if you have to go through more than 2 bends.

Practical and easy to use for duct cleaning
This kit was very easy to use, and the flexible rods make it simple to reach different lengths. The brushes clean evenly and help access areas that are usually hard to reach. The materials feel durable, and the design is practical, especially since it can be used without extra tools. After several cleaning sessions, it has worked reliably and consistently. Overall, it has been a useful tool for maintaining the duct.

Have a dryer? You should have this.
Very pleased with the performance. I installed the 4″ hard pipe myself 8 years ago, with 1 90 and two 45 degree bends. I needed 22 feet, and using a drill, the brush and rod negotiated the canal with ease. Once got to the vent, I simply pulled it back through, and got very little resistance. I took an electric leaf blower and stuck it in the pipe, wrapped a rag to seal it, and ran it for a minute. There outside, lay a huge pile of lint! Shop vac took care of that. This goes on my calendar for yearly maintenance from now on. I additionally removed the dryer back, pulled and cleaned the duct and vacuumed all around. The rods that came with it seem to be very sturdy, with clean threading, and require only a little effort with 2 pliers to break and separate. The money I saved, and the experience I got, was was worth far more than the 20 bucks this cost.

This Cleaning Kit Is A Must Have
This cleaner kit worked very well…..and saved me a few hundred dollars, not having to hire someone to do it.I needed to run 19 feet, and only used 12 of the 20 segments. I should have done this a long time ago.Just be patient. Work the brush in and out a few times, adding a few segments periodically as you go. I had so much moisture trapped in my duct from years of lint build up and neglect. I was able to get it all out, even though half of it was a soggy, heavy mess.

It might work for some, but didn’t for me
Note: This is my first time cleaning out my dryer vents, and I’ve lived at my current place for over 10 years.I think there should be a disclaimer stating that this product won’t work for everyone. If you haven’t cleaned out your dryer vents in a REALLY LONG time and you recently ran your dryer, I would suggest just going down to the crawlspace, and cleaning out the vents manually, if possible.I tried this product and realized 1) it was difficult getting this item through 90 degree vent elbows 2) there was too much lint in the pipes, some of it still wet, and this product just made it clump up and clog the pipes even more 3) the more rods you attach, the harder it becomes to turn using the drill (which led me to force it too hard and eventually break the rod). This was when I was had like 9 rods attached in the vents and yeah I freaked out for a bit but then decided to man up and go down to the crawlspace and clean the pipes out by hand. Sure it required a bit more work but I ended up finding SO MUCH more lint in there that this product would not have been able to remove it all.

Did not come in original packaging but works fine. Had dryer vent cleaned professionally but they cleaned only from outside of the house. This much lint was in the dryer vent in the laundry room.

The dryer duct brush kit worked perfectly. I was astonished at the amount of lint and dust that it removed from my dryer. A+ for me. Pictures show post brush debri and first time turnd on air setting.

Very well done and put together. It works even at my very very long pipe. But if you don’t have a good vacuum….the task will still be annoying to do. Of course i will only buy this item once in my life and use it once per year…so think about the price…is it worth it?………

I used this a few weeks ago and actually put together about 14ft of the sections, as I have a very long dryer vent. My vent was disgusting and I actually had some trouble getting past some of the really caked on lint, but this surprisingly worked so well. I think the key is not to force things and move slowly to dislodge anything larger and pull everything out a few times before continuing and maybe being a little more aggressive. I have 3- 90 degree elbows and was able to work through them without any issue, but I also never forced anything, instead letting the drill slowly turn everything as I advanced the brush forwards and backwards.I literally pulled out enough lint to fill one of those Rubbermaid shallow totes (10 gallon)….that’s at least 15 years of lint

This 4″ dryer vent kit was perfect and helped me clean out the vent from the dryer to the outside vent. Had more than enough extensions. Even the thinner brush was used to clean the inside of the dryer. Was able to remove at least 95% of the accumulated dust. Please note that the extensions can stay a bit bent. That is why you must use the drill at a slower speed than 1/2 speed. This gives a chance for the brush and the extensions to go around bends in you vent tubing without forcing. Also, after you finished cleaning your vent, tubing and machine as best you could, I highly recommend that you start your dryer for 30 seconds. It will push all the remaining loose dust towards the outside vent that you can clean out. Then you’re done.To prevent a fire in your dryer, it’s recommended that we clean out the vent and dryer yearly.I highly recommend it.
