Good quality extinguisher. Small size but very effective
Great size fire extinguisher and should always have at least one on hand, mounted and ready to go. I like to have them by the doors so if you are outside and you see something you don’t get tempted to pass by a fire to grab an extinguisher.Note that these are 10BC units. There is no A rating. That doesn’t mean it can’t put out an A rated fire (papers, wood, etc), it just means it doesn’t compare well with water and would not do as well as 1.25 gallons of water. If it had a 1A rating, that would mean it does the equivalent of 1.25 gallons of water. In this case it doesn’t. It is designed for use in the garage or on a boat (it is rated for boat use).

Always be prepared.
I’m leaving 4 star, only because I have not had to test it out yet. But it’s am essential tool for any small room that has risk. Fits secured in a known place. Seems to be a good choice in terms of money and function. If the need comes, this thing will come out fast. Pull the pin and you’re set up. It doesn’t take batteries, the review is asking about that lol. I’ll probably get a second one eventually.

Rated wrong
Photos shows it as ABC rated extinguisher but this garage 10 is BC rated. Nice small size. I guess it will work.

Will feel safe having one in the car

It’s a fire extinguisher
The item arrived new in the box and was undamaged. The gauge is full. The bracket was there and worked well when mounted on the boat. The bracket is plastic and the strap seems like it could be fragile but it seems to work well for my vertically mounted application. I’m not sure how the bracket would hold up long term on a boat if it was mounted horizontally.

Feels weird reviewing a fire extinguisher, because hopefully I never have to use it lol.Not a very big unit, exactly what I was expecting. Planning to keep it in my car, just in case it ever gives me the opportunity to save myself or someone else from something preventable!Hopefully if I ever use it I remember to come back and update this review
