Great stable option for larger desks
I was super hesitant about this style of monitor stand but I’m very pleasantly surprised. Super good quality and more stable than some of the monitor arms I’ve tried that secure to the desk.

Really sturdy, beautiful, and easy to put together
$59.99 when ordered. $49.99 now. I remove one star when sellers charge Amazon Vine reviewers more than they charge normal customers.I currently only have one monitor, but I hope to rectify that soon. So when I saw this I grabbed it because it puts me closer to having that happen. I’m impressed with how well it is made and how stable and secure it too. It came with everything it needs to put it together. The instructions are very clear with both words and images and every item numbered to ensure that you get it correct. Not only that but in the areas where you could possibly turn it wrong they are very clear about which direction to have items facing. It is a hefty item. I found it easy to put together. I really like how nice the base is. That might be something silly to say, but I’m really impressed with the base. It’s heavy glass has a black bottom nice cushioned rubber feet. It sets up off the desk. It is lovely. This will look really nice on the desk. I’m not taking a photo of it on my desk because I don’t do photographs that show my home, but I’m going to take a photo of the base because it’s just so darn pretty. Everything went together smoothly and easily. It has clasps to hold the cords secure and hide them. The arms move easy but not so easy that they’re going to be wibbly wobbling everywhere. It just seems really well made and put together. Definitely worth the price. It comes with multiple screws and nuts to ensure that your monitor will be able to fit. I’m really happy with this.

Very stable freestanding base with full motion arms.
A note about Amazon Vine: I receive products through this program in exchange for providing truly honest reviews. It’s worth mentioning that these products aren’t truly free – Vine members are required to pay INCOME tax on all items received. Because of this expense, I’m selective about what I choose to review, requesting only products I genuinely intend to use. This is relevant as I have no reason to provide inflated ratings simply because I received a product at no upfront cost. When I rate highly, it’s because it genuinely performed well for me or serves its intended purpose. Products that fail to meet reasonable expectations will be evaluated accordingly. Here’s my review of the ErGear Freestanding Dual Monitor Stand. This is a solid, well-built monitor stand that does an excellent job of decluttering a desk, especially if you can’t use a clamp-style mount. The build is impressive right out of the box, and I wasn’t prepare for the beauty of the black glass base, WOW! The metal arms & pole feel substantial, but that tempered glass black base, it’s lovely. Assembly is quick & simple with the labeled parts and clear instructions. It has a smooth tilt, swivel, and rotation – everything you want.As a freestanding unit, its stability is entirely dependent on balance. If you extend both arms fully forward with heavy monitors, it can become top-heavy. This will also leave a fixed gap on smaller monitors, not an issue for me but just know to check it in case you’re one of those wanting a continuous, bezel-to-bezel look. I used the included tools to assemble without issue. At the time of this review, this was listed at $59.99 with a 25 percent savings, for a final price of $44.99. For a freestanding stand of this quality and stability, that is a very fair price. I have a glass desk and couldn’t use my old monitor arm on that.I hope this review has been helpful to you.

Innovative monitor stand I like.
The market has been flooded with dual monitor stands for a few years now that VESA has been standardized and COVID sent nearly all the click-clackers of the business world into their basement offices so it’s hard to notice any difference between all of them…but this one does stand out for a couple of different reasons.First is the base. Most that I’ve dealt with try to limit their footprint (and material used in the construction) by utilizing a “V” shape. That just made it worse for the various tchotchkes and USB devices randomly used throughout the day…..plus, I guess you could say that I have mental issues as well. Why did I bring that up? Yeah, I’ve got so much chaos in my life that I desperately crave order and having a square base helps visually as I work (helps with my eyelines). It feels pretty classy that it’s a mirrored surface, even if I have to chase the tiny cat hairs off of it daily.Second is the post. This is my first time seeing a post that wasn’t circular. That really helps and comes into play when you’re trying to adjust your monitors as they don’t rotate the armatures when you try to adjust a single monitor. Additionally (and this may just be my mis-wired brain), it also helps with keeping everything square and lined up.My only suggested improvement would be to offer that post feature in a clamped model….oh, and to make one for dual monitors in a vertical positioning.

Doesn’t work with 32” monitors
As the title says, this stand doesn’t work with 32” curved monitors, even though the product description says it does.I received this stand today and was excited to have some desk space back. Unfortunately, that’s not going to happen. I have 2 MSI 31.5” curved monitors and the arms can’t support them. You can see in the picture and the video that the tilt gives out, so I’m left with down facing screens. And there’s nothing I can do to tighten the mount any more to keep it in place.I will be returning this and looking for a more sturdy option
