This Little Guy Blew Me Away!
Wow, I can’t believe how good this tiny camera is! The quality is amazing, super clear videos, smooth movement, and it focuses so fast. I use it for my vlogs and honestly, it makes everything look like I used a big professional camera. It’s small, easy to carry, and perfect for anyone who loves recording on the go. Totally worth it!

Very good portable camera for travel
I bought this for travel. There’s tons of videos in Youtube on how to use this well so it’s very easy to learn. The size is small enough to carry around easily and take videos at any times. It’s just so easy to use and the videos recorded are really great, clean 4K videos capturing the scenery very well. Highly recommend.

Perfect secondary camera
This is the best purchase of 2025 for me. a couple of month ago I came across someone using the Osmo Pocket 3 a couple of month ago. I between this and the Xtra Muse and I decided to buy the Pocket 3 and I have no regrets. It feels sturdy and durable when holding the equipment. The in mic works perfectly well, but I highly suggest that you order the DJI Mic 2 for better sound. The image quality of the camera is really good. For my videography business, this is a good camera to shoot b-roll and interview. There is an app (DJI Mimo) that you’ll have to download to register the Osmo Pocket 3, but after you down pop in your microsd card and you can start shooting with no problem.

Great features, improved a LOT since Pocket 2… BUT we can’t use it
I ordered this camera to replace my DJI Osmo Pocket 2, which I’ve liked, but – oh my! – the Pocket 3 has SO many FAR better features for travel vlogging!Unfortunately, the Pocket 3 also stops working (after the 5th time you turn it on), if you don’t “activate” it via an app on your phone.Well, I had mixed feelings about that, but – for such a great camera – I decided to take a chance on privacy issues, and activate the app anyway.BUT THEN…The app isn’t on Google Play for a reason: When I researched the issue, it comes down to GDPR standards. Apparently, the DJI Mimo app – used to activate the camera – doesn’t meet those standards. So, I could download the app to my Motorola phone, but the app wouldn’t install. It was blocked by Motorola for safety and privacy reasons (per the pop-up window).Of course, the app wouldn’t even download to my husband’s Google Pixel phone.I’m stunned that a $500+ camera can’t be used, fresh out of the box, without jumping through more hoops… some requiring me to buy another phone. But more than that, I’m terribly disappointed. I’d waited weeks to receive this camera. And, at first glance, this camera looks great, and has SO many wonderful features, I was delighted that I’d purchased it… until I realized I can’t use it at all. This isn’t a new issue. In forums, I see that DJI has known about this since 2023. I’m not sure why they won’t comply with GDPR standards to solve this problem.Until they do, I’m sad and disappointed, and cannot recommend the camera at all. This might have been a five-star review. The camera looks great, and – until it quit working – everything about it impressed me.Instead, I can only give it one-star.I hope this is a warning to others to check if their phones accept (and will install) the DJI Mimo app, before buying this camera.

Good purchase a year ago, not for tariff rates!
Been great. Easy to use. Integrates with wireless dji mic well. Overall good quality cam, very stabil. Not great in low light, and even at 60fps movement can be blurry. The zoom / direction control is screwy on screen and in settings. Too much touch control on a tony screen. Better have little fingers. Good battery life. Overall, recommend…..but at the price we paid, not current tariff pricing!

Love the portability and quality, hate the activation and app install.
I’ve had other mini-gimbal units and have to say the DJI just feels beefier and better. It focuses faster and just does everything else better. But – you HAVE to register it before the 5th use. If you don’t, you have a paperweight until you do register it. So if you go on vacation with your new toy and have no internet, you are in trouble. This is my main complaint with every new DJI device. The app is not standards compliant and to get it to run is a bit tricky. If you already have it installed – I did – but it won’t run – mine would not – you have to uninstall and download the APK from DJI using a QR code. You also have to change your security settings to allow the app to install. If you’re into privacy or security, you will NOT like anything about the camera. After I went through all that on my Moto Edge 2023 the app ran fine. The first thing it did was download a firmware update. It works well and has very little lag. It uses an ad-hoc wifi network to connect to the phone, and it’s all done with answering questions (allow to connect? etc.)Other stuff worth mentioning: The camera will power on and off when the screen is rotated. It’s a battery hog. I went through 11% of the battery just setting it up and installing firmware. There’s magnetic storage in the case for filters and a slide-in spot to keep their external mic. The “manual” reads like Ikea instructions and is all icons and arrows, and pretty useless. The included mount that snaps on the bottom is needed for using with a selfie stick or tripod, as there’s no mounting threads on the gimbal – the threaded opening (1/4-20) is on the snap-on base. This also adds about 1 1/2″ to the length. It’s a combination of rubber, plastic and aluminum and is surprisingly heavy. The included case is handy, but does not cover the camera completely, and leaves the bottom and back totally exposed. It’s not something I would just toss in a backpack or camera bag. You’ll need to put it in a pouch or another case.Video quality is excellent, audio surprisingly good. The gimbal is FAST and there’s a lot of features, from hyperlapse and timelapse, to 3×3 and 180 degree panoramic photos, although no 360 photos.Last night I shot some video at a 1920’s themed dance. Very dark room, loud music with some heavy bass. I was amazed at the quality of the video and the clarity of the audio.

Ownership just over 6-7 months 👍Review of my DJI Osmo Pocket 3: A Game-Changer for Content Creators**Wow! What can I say that hasn’t been said already? The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is nothing short of amazing. Hats off to DJI for creating one of the best user-friendly pocket cameras on the market. It’s truly a next-level device that has completely blown me away—and that’s saying a lot, especially coming from someone who has invested over £10K in other high-end gear like the Sony A7 III and A9.As a content creator, I’m always on the lookout for reliable and efficient gear, and the Pocket 3 has quickly become an indispensable part of my toolkit. The performance is undeniably top-notch, making high-resolution production a breeze. Filming has become a streamlined process; what used to take me half an hour to set up now requires mere moments. Whether I’m shooting a podcast, creating mini-movies, or producing commercials, this camera has delivered flawlessly every time.**Performance:**The speed and efficiency of the Pocket 3 are outstanding. Downloading footage to SSDs or my iPad Pro M4 is incredibly fast, which is critical for managing multiple projects. This camera has replaced my larger setups in various filming environments, getting me the same quality in about two to three months’ use compared to what I used to achieve with my bigger cameras.Remember the shift from bulky cameras to the Sony A7 series? The Pocket 3 has taken that concept to a whole new level. It feels just as powerful yet fits comfortably in the palm of my hand. I’m already saving up for the anticipated Pocket 4—if it’s anything like this one, I can only imagine how amazing it will be.**Smart Design:**What really sets the DJI Pocket 3 apart is its thoughtful design. The compact and lightweight build makes it a portable companion, both in the field and in the studio. Its sleek aesthetic offers a modern look that integrates seamlessly with any setup. Plus, the durability of the casing gives me peace of mind against accidental drops or bumps—essential for anyone consistently on the go.**Versatility:**The standout feature that I absolutely love is the Dynamic Resource Allocation technology. This feature optimizes performance while allowing me to charge the camera and shoot at the same time, supporting 3-5 hours of filming on the go without any issues. I’ve used three cameras simultaneously to capture different angles for a client’s commercial, and the Pocket 3 handled it all effortlessly.**Conclusion:**In conclusion, the DJI Pocket 3 is an essential piece of equipment for any content creator. Its seamless combination of speed, design, and versatility makes it a must-have in today’s fast-paced environment. Whether you’re shooting videos, editing photos, or just need an extra camera on the fly, the Pocket 3 quickly becomes your go-to gadget while your larger cameras take a back seat.I highly recommend the DJI Pocket 3 for anyone in the industry. It’s remarkable how this little device signifies a generational change, moving from large to small without compromising quality. Thank you, DJI, for delivering such an incredible piece of equipment!
