Great laser
Loving this thing so far

Great laser for the price.
Great little laser for the price. Shoots as advertised indoors. Daylight greatly reduces distance it can throw. Sturdy, easy-to-use design. Use-time per battery change is adequate. Leveling feature works extremely well.

Love this tool
Love this tool. It does work well indoors…providing you are not in bright light. In a large room with a lot of light, it is very hard to see the line. I believe a pair pf red tinted glasses designed to be used with lasers will solve that problem. In a room where you have have average (whatever that may be) light it works perfectly. Someone else said that the line goes from fine to thick the further you are away. That is true but really, that’s not really a hinderance. Sure it would be nice to have a really fine line at 50′ but you would have to spend much more that this tool cost.It works very well outdoors as well but only because I bought the Dewalt DW0892 Digital Line Laser Detector to work with it. My yard is 150′ deep and I was able to use it the entire depth with no problem. So to sum it up, the (minor) drawbacks for me on this is that 1) A little hard to see in a very bright room. 2) The carrying case should have a compartment for the add on line detector because you are going to have to buy it to use of this outdoors. The line detector does not have it’s own case and DeWalt doesn’t make one. Besides, even if they did, who wants to carry to cases?

Great level
My husband had his old level just like this stolen and we searched hi and low in stores to find one of the same. Was glad to find it on Amazon because he likes this model so well for work he insisted on having the same one.

Ugh
It was a challenge and I had to Lodge a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but I finally received my refund in a slightly tumultuous return issue

Only bad thing about this is it lets you know how …
Renovated the master bath, kitchen, stairs, and patio. This thing is amazingly helpful, powerful magnets on the back let you stick it to anything that supports its weight. Made a quick stand out of some 2×4 and a long metal brace screwed to it so I could move it up and down without needing to get a tripod or stand. Flashes when gyro is not aligned so you can reset it. Only bad thing about this is it lets you know how crooked everything in the house is.

I’ll start with the bad stuff-slightly bulky (not all bad, it is sturdy.) Magnet is not as powerful as other dewalt models due to it.Literally that is it though. You get the cross laser AND the plumb laser with this bad boy. You can lock the laser pendulum which sold it for me, other dewalt lasers are lacking this feature that i find important on the jobsite. Has a pretty bright laser and can be used with dewalt level sensor. Also got it at a great price !

I’m an electrician and this 2-in-1 laser level is everything I wanted. When installing light fixtures, I can measure everything on the floor first, then transfer the measurements to the ceiling using the plumb spot. It’ll be way easier than measuring from the ceiling on a ladder, especially when there’s no reference points on the ceiling. The line lasers are great for aligning pipes and electrical boxes. One of the best feature is the locking mechanism for transportation. My only complaint is my laser was not locked at the factory. I’m not sure if others are like that. When my laser level arrived, I tested everything to make sure my laser head was not damaged. It really boggles my mind why they don’t lock it at the factory when it has a lock.Lastly, this laser level DOES come with a sturdy black hard case. I’m sure this is good news for anyone interested.

Excellent price. I have uses this to install my LED lights in my shop and numerous prices of checker plate trim, also leveling and tapering of concrete forms for my driveway pad that was 14 feet deep and 26 feet wide with a 2 inch pitch for water flow.
