Got these on sale so value was awesome! Quality is great and the rubber coating is great for not beating up the floors. Coating also makes gripping effortless. Makes basic workouts very easy and effective.

Compact set of weights- Great deal
Ordered these weights to be a little healthier and get moving, hopefully to build some muscle mass. Best price I could find and with a little rack.Photo with tissue box for size reference. We love the compact design and very functional. Store right by our TV so we can pick them up and have a few reps if we are lounging, pairing an unhealthy sedentary habit with a good one!Shipping took longer than we are used to (most things arrive same day, or at most in a day or two but this took closer to a week).All weights had a good coating, no smell. Perfect and easy to grab hold of and work out for strength training.Will see if we can order more from this brand as we get stronger.

I’m really happy with my CAP Barbell neoprene dumbbells! They’re well-made, easy to grip, and the neoprene coating feels comfortable in my hands—even during longer workouts. Excellent value, comfortable and durable
I got myself a 6 lbs., 7 lbs. and 9 lbs. pairs, so this review will be the exact same for all those three sizes since they are identical apart from the weight and size.CAP has been around for a long time doing these, so their reputation for a “good value” dumbbell is not to be questioned. Are there more “quality products” out there? Probably, but for the price and quality, this cannot be beat. I would personally rate those neoprene at about a 9.5/10 which is near perfect.They are VERY comfortable in terms of grip and the size is proportioned. Extremely easy to work out with, won’t slip from your hands either and sweat won’t be a problem with those.What I liked the most is that I could find a 6, 7 and 9 lbs. which are very odd and rare formats to find. Most “kits” offer 3 lbs., 5 lbs., 8 lbs. or 10 lbs. but anything in between is near impossible to find. For me that matters since I do a lot of drop sets and wanted to micro-manage my last set with the max I can tolerate after all that pain. Also important if you do boxing or martial arts to “shadow box” with, again with the max you can tolerate on a particular day.My only tiny complaint is the font they used for the numbers which doesn’t fit the rest of my dumbbells from CAP. Not sure why they decided on a different font type for those, but it distracts a bit when you look at the rack and see that they don’t seem to be exactly from the same collection. It’s subtle though seriously and only my OCD self probably notice. Weights are weights and I’m glad CAP still makes those odd sizes.

Colorful and Work Well but Have Cuts in the Neoprene
This CAP 100 Pound Neoprene Dumbbell Set arrived nicely packaged in three boxes. The stand was easy to assemble and is sturdy. There are a couple of sharp edges, so I have them covered with tape to avoid getting poked. Most of the edges are rounded, but these were missed in the rounding process. The weights themselves look nice and are very colorful. However, as you can see from my pictures, each one has at least one small slice/cut in the neoprene. Some weights have 4 or 5 of these cuts. I’m not happy with this because I worry that in the future they might get bigger and end up peeling off. The neoprene is a bit tacky, but that’s fine, probably keeps my hands from slipping. The grip portions of the weights get bigger with the weight size; maybe that’s typical. My hands are small, and when I use the heavier weights, it’s a little more difficult to hold them. Overall, this is a nice set, but I’m going to be super careful with them so the covering doesn’t worsen. I prefer these dumbbells to the adjustable dumbbells, much more versatile.

Bought this kit. Was hard to find them at a great deal as many listings are over priced due to scarcity of dumbbells’ right now. Paid $45 for the kit. Dumbbells’ are well made, stand is plastic but very sturdy. Now looking for an 8lbs pair. Some sellers want more than $100 for 8lbs when I bought as set of 6 and stand for less than half of that.Also have the larger CAP set 10 – 30 with steal stand. Also awesome!
