I don’t know how I ever lived without it.
I’m very happy with this device. My laptop doesn’t have an ethernet port and only has one USB-C SuperSpeed port, so I bought an ethernet to USB-C cable to connect my ethernet switch to the Anker and into my laptop’s USB-C port, and it works great. I don’t need a fast internet connection for the things I do, so my service is only a 50mbps symmetrical up/down connection, and that’s what I get even while transferring files from my external between other devices, charging my phone, and using composite devices.I bought the Anker 100W Compact and Foldable USB C Charger for it and it charges my S24 extremely fast.It’s very well built, yet super lightweight. I love the sleek, slender design. It’s the perfect size to easily slide into a pocket, store in a desk drawer, or keep handy in a laptop case or backpack.Using it is easy. Just plug it into your computer and plug your devices into it. Just make sure you have a power supply for it if you’re charging or powering other devices, using external storage, or running anything else that taxes USB power.I have had ZERO connectivity issues with it — no random disconnect/reconnect blips, no failed transfers for huge amounts of data that have taken up to 45 minutes, no static his or crackle when my headset is running through it… no problems at all. It’s actually kind of spooky now that I think about it… I can’t recall a time I’ve ever had a similar device that didn’t have some nuance that got under my skin, like a loose connection, random disconnections, having to reinstall the drivers all the time, or having to troubleshoot just to get it connected for the first time.The most stress I’ve put it through was with my keyboard connected, ethernet running through it, my S24 charging and transferring about ~20gb of pictures and videos to my 2T external HD at the same time that my laptop was transferring about ~500gb of media and documents to the HD, too, and I was surprised by how warm it DIDN’T get.My only complaint is trivial and unique to my situation — I wish output cord was longer. About six inches would do. My laptop sits up on an adjustable stand that clamps to my desk, and the end where the output cord is hangs a few inches off of my desk. This puts extra stress on the USB-C port and can wear it out faster or damage it.I haven’t had a use for the HDMI port yet, but I eventually will. I use all of the other ports for my work and personal devices, though. These include: a 2tb external hard drive; a Poly Blackwire 3320 Series headset; a dongle for a wireless mouse/keyboard combo or a wired keyboard and a dongle for a wireless mouse; my Galaxy S24 charges and transfers files through it super fast; I have several thumb drives ranging from 20gb to 512gb that I regularly use; I recently bought an RCA/S Video-to-USB converter to digitize old home movies I plug into it, too.

Works Great and Keeps Everything Connected
This Anker 7-in-1 USB-C hub has been a solid addition to my setup. It’s got all the ports I need — USB, HDMI, SD card, and more — and everything works smoothly with my MacBook and other gear. The connection is stable, no lag or dropouts, and it doesn’t get hot like some cheaper hubs do. The aluminum body feels sturdy and looks sharp on the desk. I like that it’s compact enough to throw in a bag for travel too. Reliable, well-made, and just makes life easier when you’ve got multiple devices to plug in.

Perfect. Very easy to use, just plug in. I use it on an iPad to connect to my audio interface that is connected to a mic and it is compatible, no connectivity issues or delay in recording and monitoring. All other ports work too. For what you can use it for, it’s a decent price.

Functional with a few hangups
While this HUB does work, it does leave a little to be desired. The limited number of USB ports is my first issue. It has 2 USB A and 1 USB C ports for attaching external items to. There is a second USB C port, but it’s for power input as opposed to being something another USB-C device could connect to. I am happy that it connect to my Laptop with a USB-C cable, given the recent trend in hardware design to remove USB-A ports from them.I’ve used Anker products before, and the brand is good for most of their products. They are a good manufacturer for those of us who prefer to go cheap on our devices when we can. That does come with a downside though in the quality of the components. In the Month I’ve had this hub (at time of writing), I’ve twice had to unplug everything from it, as well as unplug it from the laptop, and let it sit for a few moments. This is because for some reason, the hub will just stop processing signals to or from the laptop. This troubleshooting tip and fix comes from Anker’s site directly, and does work to re-allow it to start passing signals once again.Final verdict: Functional with a few hangupsI would like to see more USB ports, especially USB-C ports. Cheap internal components make for minor inconveniences.

Quality Product
The decline in current laptops of USB ports and of specialized slots such as for an SD card for the sake of thinness, has made products like the Anker hub especially welcome. The new Anker 7-in-1 hub hits the right spots. The slot for an SD card is especially welcome. The dedicated Power Delivery input is also helpful and frees up a port on my laptop.The hub itself is well designed with an aluminum housing and labels at each slot. The labels, however, suffer from low contrast and a tiny font.Anker is known for its close adherence to USB standards, assuring a tight fit for connections. From my Anker charger and cable through the Anker hub to my laptop, it’s Ankers aweigh.

Reliable little hub that works smoothly
Solid USB-C hub for everyday use. All the ports work well, the connection feels stable, and it’s super handy for plugging in accessories or an HDMI monitor. It does warm up a bit during heavy use, but nothing extreme. Great value for the price.

Love this hub. Attached to my Mac mini, added the second monitor and other peripherals and it worked like a charm. Hook up a removable drive – file transfer speeds are as promised. Takes up very little space and is well made.

It’s Good Loooking, and It Works!
Where some of the cheaper USB-C combo hubs don’t always do what they say, this one does.I carry it with my MacBook Air M4 to connect my power supply, mouse dongle, and whatever else I might need (including SD cards from my camera). It’s sturdy, fits easily in the computer bag, and looks good.It works well, with no fuss, no muss, no wiggling the cords. It makes traveling with a computer easy!

Bought this to run a musical theatre show from my MacBook, which only has two USB ports and I needed a few more. This hub is compact, works exactly as it should, and the ability to run the power cable through the hub and into the MacBook is a really handy feature. It feels good quality for the price, and I’d definitely recommend it — I’d happily buy another if I ever needed to.
