This is one of those products you don’t want to use. It is for grease fires, but when needed, you want to use this. The bracket that comes with this is very sturdy. The type of equipment that you would expect to find in a commercial kitchen. The manufacturer is also one of the more widely used brands in commercial settings. This is the next step up from a consumer grade product.

These are extremely well made fire extinguishers: No junky plastic parts, and even the steel mounting bracket is top quality. I’m thankful Amerex is one of the few manufacturers to offer *Purple K* extinguisher in the smaller sizes and Fire and Safety Plus sells them at a affordable price.I normally don’t buy safety critical items like fire extinguishers off the internet, but Fire and Safety Plus ships them double boxed and well marked in “Fragile” tape. My package arrived at my door without a single dent in the box and in perfect condition . I hope to not need another fire extinguisher (in the next 10 years at least) but if I do, I would certainly buy from them again!

This can make all difference between a small fire and a charred up project car!You work hard on your car, so protect it. Do not allow an electrical issue or a nitrous explosion at the drag strip claim your car. At less than $60, this is worth every penny and its value is greater than its monetary presence. A couple bucks here can save you thousands later on. You never know when something can go wrong.At 2.5-lbs, it is easy to lift and use even for older car lovers who may struggle with heavier weights. I recommend keeping this in your car, granting temperatures allow for it. In fact, it’s ideal for keeping in your car, seeing as it comes with a sturdy car bracket.Furthermore, you can always take it to your local fire department for inspection and this is a refillable extinguisher.You can’t go wrong, buy it now!

Good pre plan to have one
I added this extinguisher to my EV to ensure I’m prepared to assist with fire protection, whether for my vehicle or someone else’s. I did not get to use it as the vehicle caught fire and burned with the extinguisher inside. 3700 Miles on the vehicle.

Love the all metal construction and the provided mounting bracket! I picked up Purple K specifically for use with my car because I heard that normal chemical fire extinguishers can damage electrical systems in cars, while this does not. I coupled this with a Bracketeer mount and installed it behind my passenger seat for some peace of mind.
