I have tried a couple of these flat panel lights and each has their benefits and issues.This one is exactly 2X2. That means you need to make sure that area is that size with a lip to hold the panel in place.If you are not experienced with electrical wiring, I would recommend having a professional install it.As for working it does a very good job and has adjustable light wattage.

Great LED Panels!
These panels arrived well packaged and the build quality is excellent. I picked these up to add some extra light to my basement and replace older fluorescent fixtures that aren’t as efficient. These panels fit perfectly into my drop ceiling setup. Installation was fairly easy, just took some extra wire to hook them all together and into the existing circuit. I like having the option to select the output level and color temperature, and it works well. It’s not really something you’re going to be changing all the time, but it’s nice to have the ability to pick what I want when installing the panels. Overall the light output is excellent and the panels are working great for me.

Excellent addition to my basement
These lights can really brighten up a room. I chose to go with the 6000K color setting at maximum wattage as this gives the whitest light and makes it easier to work and see. These things are very flat … I’ve used other panel lights like these in my garage, but these were even thinner than I expected.Installation was easy as they provided all the needed wire nuts to connect things together, the only thing I wish they had included were some strain relief nuts to go in the punch out holes that you run the wires through. I went and purchased 4 of them for a few bucks, but it would have been best if there were included out of the box. If you don’t use them, you could end up with wires shorting out of the sharp edges of the metal cover plate.

Judging by just the name I knew this would be a four part series lasting many months. Apparently all you need to do with these ultra lightweight, semi fragile 2by2 light fixtures is no more complicated than you might be led to believe when you see the instructions manual. Other than finding an appropriate spot, you just need to supply it power with a red, black and green wire. (Hardwire it) The pink and other miscellaneous colours are not used unless you purchase a dimmer. Yeah that blows, I thought it had one built-in.But what a time saver!So a big, bright, lightweight, temperature coloured, flat panel light fixture(s) is what I got. Test of time is really the only thing to consider. Long lasting is usually what LEDs do best.

Perfect for my shop
I have a workshop in my basement, and like any other shop, it’s too dim. I only got a 4 pack of these, since I really only need the extra light over my bench. These worked Great for that use. I liked being able to adjust the temperature of the lights, these are installed in the open, so I sacrificed a power cables I had lying around to wire them up to a standard outlet and strung suitable wiring between themAll in all, a good buy

The “VocgoUU Store 2×2 LED Flat Panel Light” is a versatile, bright, easy to mount, easy to wire 2 foot by 2 foot flat panel light. I have mine set to 50 watts at 4000K. For me the 4000K color is a good clean white, without appearing too blue. Although designed for mounting in a typical office T-Grid ceiling, the strong foldable clips allow suspending the lamp assembly from light chains or cables.I mounted 4 of these units via lamp suspension cables (from Amazon) directly over my toolboxes in the garage. It’s amazing how they change the ability to locate tools! I went form a barely lit area, to a bright enjoyable work space. The light coverage is very even, without hot spots or dim areas.Wiring is easy, with a generous sized junction box area. I used the proper ½ inch wire clamp, which did force a tighter wire bend than a typical installation, but well within limits.These lamp assemblies are a definite recommend. Easily 5 stars.

These flat panels give me the nice bright light I needed in my kitchen without the hum, flicker and headaches of the lights that came installed in the drop ceiling when I bought the house (fluorescents). This is a bright but much softer light that my eyes can actually see in. They’re also so much lighter and more streamilned than the lights they are replacing. Easy enough to install. And they’re much more energy efficient than older alternatives, so I’m a happy camper.

These flat panel lights are bright, versatile, and easy to install. The four panels came in a sturdy box with each panel well protected by foam and plastic wrap. The build quality looks solid. They’re fairly lightweight but rigid enough to handle without bending. The wiring is standard, which made setup easy. The panels fit perfectly into a standard drop ceiling and sit flush without gaps.The adjustable wattage and colour temperature are a big plus. Being able to switch between 30W, 40W, and 50W or choose from 3000K to 6000K lets you fine-tune both brightness and tone for different spaces. I set one to 4000K at 40W for an office, and the light output was clean, even, and easy on the eyes. The dimming function works smoothly with a 0–10V dimmer. They run cool to the touch and stay silent. There is no noticeable flicker or hum.If there’s a downside, it’s that the wiring leads could be a bit longer to make installation easier in tight spaces. Also, the frame finish is a bit thin and can scuff during handling if you’re not careful. Overall, these panels are a great value. They’re bright, efficient, and flexible enough for offices, workshops, or home basements. Once installed, they give a clean, professional look with reliable, flicker-free light. Full marks from me!

Finally got around to replacing the pot lights in the basement where I have my workshop set up with these flat panel LED lights. The lighting is now even over my workbench area and bright enough that I don’t need additional mounted work lights. Too bad this only came as a 4 pack; 8 panels would have completed the room, but at least the 4 covers my workspace and I can add a second set at a later time. The panels are dimmable, which is a nice feature, but not something I require, and that goes for the different color temperatures. I leave the lights on 5000K so it’s lit bright. It’s pretty bright, and colors look accurate, especially for staining work and color matching.The actual installation would have been straightforward…a simple drop in and connect, but I had to remove all my old existing pot lights first. Overall, very happy with these LED panels. Good quality, good features, and nice, bright lighting.
