Everyone should have some of these extinguishers in their home. I ordered two of these extinguishers so we would have one in the house and one in the garage. I feel better knowing that there is an extinguisher close by in case of emergency. I like that the directions are clearly printed on the extinguisher because I am afraid I won’t remember how to use it during an emergency.

The pressure gauge needle is supposed to stay within the green zone in the center, and that indicates the extinguisher is properly pressurized — not half empty.The body, nozzle, and handle of the fire extinguisher are all made of metal, and the unit weighs about 1.99 kg (around 4.39 lb). There is a firmly installed plastic base at the bottom, and the manufacture and expiration dates are marked inside it (the product has a 6-year service life). A metal wall-mount hook is included in the package for securing the extinguisher in place.Regarding the position of the yellow safety pin: on this extinguisher, the pin is located between the handle and the lever, which helps prevent accidental activation. I also noticed another similar model with a black nozzle, where the safety pin is placed directly above the handle, which appears to allow for a quicker response. For a small extinguisher like this, both designs have their pros and cons.

The ABC’s of Firefighting
Nice little ABC Dry Powder extinguisher for home use. Of course, I can’t test its functionality or it won’t be available if/when needed. It is a good size to keep in a kitchen cabinet or attach to a garage wall. The PASS acronym label on the front gives easy to follow instructions. Just remember, always aim at the base of the fire, not the flames.

Received this set of fire extinguishers for any emergency events that may occur while cooking outside or even in the kitchen and they are partially empty not full won’t recommend

Great protection
This fits my use case perfectly. This is a quality made item that you should be able to rely on if the need arises. If you ever needed this and didn’t have it the results could be disastrous. For the price point it’s cheap insurance. While not lightweight it’s not too heavy either.

Grab this fire extinguisher to replace some expired ones. This one claims to be ABC dry chemical so it should be good for extinguishing a wide range of flammable materials. Has a very simple pull and squeeze mechanism. Instructions on the fire extinguisher are very clear and detailed. Discussed the use of the fire extinguisher with the family to make sure everyone was clear on how it works in case of an emergency. Fire extinguisher came packaged well and fully charged ready for use.

Well, I haven’t used it and hopefully I won’t have to! But it feels well made and durable. All metal construction seems like it will hold up well to the various bumps and drops it will inevitably incur in my garage. Great to have in case of emergency!
