This powered hub solved all my problems! I had just purchased a new Lenovo ThinkPad Laptop with high speed Thunderbolt USB ports to connect to the Thunderbolt port on a new PreSonus ES Series audio interface I had purchased for voice over recording. I also bought a high speed Lenovo docking station with Thunderbolt ports to use with the laptop.Unfortunately, when I connected the audio interface either to the docking station or laptop directly, the audio interface did not recognize the connection unless I powered it on before booting up my laptop. This was solved when I purchased the RSH-ST10C-6 USB hub and connected my audio interface to the high speed port on the powered hub, and now it works as intended. I can power on the audio interface after I’ve booted up my laptop and the connection is recognized.I love that this hub has multiple high speed USB C and older USB A ports. This gives me a lot of flexibility to plug in new and older devices. I also appreciate that I can power on only the devices I need at any time without wasting power on devices I don’t need at the moment.I can’t recommend the RSH-ST10C-6 USB powered hub enough. It worked right out of the box and does everything I need!
